I am no fitness guru! But, I am trying to start improving my strength. I ordered these to try to improve my grip strength and forearms.Straight out of the package, they were set on a higher resistance, and I thought, Wow, these are easy. But, after about 3 seconds of squeezing, I changed my mind and ran them down to the lowest setting. At the lowest setting, they are very easy to squeeze, but to keep them squeezed, I could only last about 10 seconds at a time.For the past week, I have had these by the couch. Any time I sit down to watch TV, I’ve started squeezing them. I can already see a noticeable difference. The one I hold in my right hand, I have moved up about half way on the resistance. Having 2 has been helpful. I can exercise both hands at the same time, and I can easily use a higher resistance on my dominate hand.The grip is comfortable. It does not use a thumb though. The grips are not far enough apart to engage your thumb into the activity. Since they are all made this way, I assume you are not supposed to. You squeeze it between your 4 fingers and the palm of your hand.The product seems durable. I’ve only had them for about a week, but I foresee them lasting a long time.If you are an average person, this product is great and offers plenty of resistance! If you are a Ninja Warrior...go for a higher resistance!

I got this at the suggestion of a friend, and it's been pretty useful. I use it sparingly here and there, doing about 50 reps each hand at max resistance. Use it when I'm home watching Netflix, use it while I'm driving (at stop lights only lol), and anywhere else I remember to 'squeeze' in a quick session. For the most part, I just enjoyed the feeling it gave my forearms, but hadn't noticed the irl benefits until I had tons of groceries to unload and a 12 pack of canned soda that wasn't bagged. My hands aren't that big so I've always struggled with palming one of these, so I reached for it simply trying to pick it up and rotate it slightly so I could grab it from a better angle. On the first grab I felt no loss of grip, AND I was grabbing the side of the box where the can lips weren't. I carried the 12 pk in with that one hand and didn't need to readjust once. Grip remained firm and felt suction-like all the way thru. Also helps make a tighter, firmer fist, which is why I originally bought it. Great purchase, highly recommended.

i started using these as soon as i got them and man do they work great. after a week my grip is already getting stronger. i like the adjustability but I'm not really confident that the adjuster screw cap will last a long time being made of plastic but as long as its used correctly i guess it'll last for a while anyway. another thing that got my attention was that when your using it the plastic rubs against itself at the hinges leaving a white power. to address this i used some tool oil to keep it oiled and so far no problems with that. otherwise a good way to exercise your grip.

I've owned my pair of Hand Grips less than a week but I find that I'm using them a lot. I keep them beside my favorite recliner so while watching TV it's simple to pick them up. When I'm reading, I enjoy using one at a time. Even at the "easiest" setting, I feel my muscles flexing throughout my fingers, hands, wrists, and biceps. I love the satisfaction of using them on my slightly arthritic hands. As a senior, I'm pleased to have a good quality product at my fingertips--to keep my fingertips agile and active! I am impressed with the good price, quick delivery, simplicity, and usefulness. I'm going to do some research on the benefits of Grip Strengtheners. I think they will be a fantastic gift for family and friends of all ages! The picture depicts them as a fleshy pink, but I was happily surprised that my Hand Grip Set is a very pleasant red.

This product was very good, but I find that this one, and others I have bought, breakdown too fast. However, It was an excellent product while it lasted and for the price.

These are without a doubt the best hand/forearm strengtheners that I've ever seen or owned. The adjustment in resistance is simple as you just rotate the red knob and watch the spring move back to lessen resistance or forward to increase it. I'm elderly so I started at the lowest setting which is correct for me. The incremental changes that can be made by turning the knob are more than sufficient for me to never outgrow the provided resistance. Best of all is their silence when being used, which was always a disadvantage to the conventional A shaped strengtheners. All in all this is an innovative design that works perfectly, and is very comfortable to use. I can highly recommend the Raniaco Hand Grip Strengthener. This little plastic/metal device is great for a simple forearm workout. The crank device on it is easy to use with 0 friction when adjusting weight amounts. The amounts vary from 10kg (22 pounds) to 40kg (88 pounds). It's small, compact and totally silent. Now that work from home is a new norm I find myself using this during conference calls and even when I'm talking (since it's so quiet). I've been using for 3 days and I already notice a clear difference in my left arm strength (I'm right hand dominant). Simple but effective and well designed. I highly recommend this and would purchase again.

I checked the reviews to see if this made noise and though some said it did - others said it didn't. (I should have checked the validity of the reviews but didn't think about it - who would be mendacious about a hand gripper?) Not only does it make noise with each rep - it's loud as heck.. DON'T USE THIS IN AN AREA IF THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE. Really disappointed in the quality as well - squeaks and clunks with each rep AS WELL AS VERY CHEAPLY MADE. (Sorry to say, I knew it was made in China and the packaging proved me right.) TRY ANOTHER COMPANY - NOT WORTH THE PRICE!
