We bought it to deter a neighborhood cat that keeps spraying in our gardens. It did not work, the cat actually walks right in front of it. Don't waste your money.

It’s easy to use and set up, but it doesn’t work at night. I like to sit on my patio at night and I’ve had problems with skunks coming under the fence. I placed this right by my stairs. It makes a noise in the day time, but at night nothing happens and a skunk literally walked right next to it and wasn’t fazed. It seems to need the sun in order to work. So not very effective for all times of day. It doesn’t hold a charge.

My neighbor’s cats and dogs still walk across my patio like nothing..Waste of a purchase.Ive also had it set it up to the highest frequency. 😒 only neat thing is that it looks like a surveillance camera lol

We were having problems with cats. When we first put this device in our garden it went dead after one day. Turns out the wind was blowing causing the leaves to move all night. We re-positioned the device and it works great!! I recommend this device to anyone who is sick of cats pooping in their garden!

It is effective; my yard has been dog poop free for 1 month now, and the stray cat visitor no longer considers my yard very appealing. It is energy saving; I have only had to charge it a couple of times by USB: the sun has taken care of the rest. It has weather-proofing, I won’t have to worry about rain or other weather related damage. It was very easy to install; the owners manual made setup and installation very easy and it was up and running in no time. It is doing the job I acquired it to do and appears to be doing it in an inexpensive and humane way. I highly recommend the Ancokio for deterrence of unwanted dog poop on your yard and uninvited visitors.

Less than three months and it’s dead. Tried charging via usb and it made no difference.It sat hanging on a screw out of the rain and got plenty of sun to charge and now it’s dead.Never seems to scare away the cat that was pooping under my porch but it sure pissed off the passing joggers.
