Bought these for a retro 80’s open air concert/festival and they did not disappoint - they are great.They are bright and look awesome when lit. They were certainly more striking than a lot of the cheaper glowing and flashing shutter glasses being worn. The pink and blue are clear and very of the time.They come with the battery pack attached which is a bit of a negative and annoying as you’d hope for just sunglasses without the cable and battery pack dangling from the arm however the cable is long enough to be thread down your back into a back pocket and hidden away, also really doesn’t matter in the dark as people will focus on the cool colours of the glasses. I was wearing a hat so stuffed all the gubbins out of site under that.Some reviews mention a noise - there is a high frequency noise when they’re switched on however at a concert or a party this wouldn’t be heard as normal levels of conversation or music would drown it out (it’s not loud).These really do stand out, colours are bright, they look cool and there was no issue with battery life (2x AAA) they were still going strong at the end of a long night and beyond. Loads of compliments on how cool they looked from strangers too.In the dark (and after a few beverages) it made it easier for our group to see each other. These glasses really do stand out in the crowd.They have a static on mode, flashing and a third flashing mode which I think is with the beat but seemed to pick up on all the background noise around us not just music.4 star (not 5 star) simply for the battery back attachment being a bit annoying but I doubt that could change without a loss in the cool design. Worth every penny
