This set has good reviews, but for some reason, Amazon flagged it as being an item that has a high number of returns.I suppose that that may be because someone buys this item to complete a job that they may not need to complete again, so they then return it. I cannot imagine any other reason to return it—it works incredibly well and is very well-made.If I were a plumber, I would probably invest in a $150 Rigid or other heavy duty large pipe cutter. As a home DIYer, that would be absurd; but a $39 tool that works perfectly for occasional use makes more sense.I used this kit to install new 2 inch and 1.5 inch PVC piping for new sump and sewer ejector pumps, which it isn’t really designed to cut. But it worked well, and way better than the ratchet-type PVC pipe cutters since those work poorly on larger pipes in my experience.It tracks perfectly, cuts cleanly. and holds the pipe firmly.The reamer also worked perfectly for this task.

Cutting 2" fence poles. I was surprised how smoothly it cut the pipe. Additionally, minimal effort was required to accomplish the task.

This cutter worked great on 1/2" EMT. Just score the EMT a few rotations with this cutter and snap it off. As a bonus this cutter will allow you to cut as little as a 1/2" off a piece of EMT, because it will fully cut thru the EMT if needed. Only issue with the cutter I had is with the blue band on the handle. It would rotate on the handle and not move the cutter up. I peeled the blue part off and continued to use the cutter, and later I super glued the blue grip and it as worked fine since. This cutter actually works better than my Klein conduit cutter.

I had some metal drinking straws that were just a tad too long. I used a small power saw to cut one down, which went OK but I had to do a lot of filing to smooth out the rough edges. I got the idea to use this pipe cutter and it worked better than expected. Perfectly smooth edges with no filing needed.

This is the most valuable DIY instrument that I have bought in recent times! Very useful and works as described.

Worked good on the copper-nickle brake line I purchased. Has a quality feel to the cutter.

I purchased this to allow easy cut down of steel bmx handle bars, does the job really well. Nicely made, clean cutting. 👌🏼 we will see how l9ng the blade last although 2 cuts on the chromoly steel don't seem to have dulled the blade at all.

Der Rohrschneider tut das was er tun soll, Rohre abschneiden. Handhabung ist sehr einfach, Gerät auf das Rohr stecken, mit den Handrad leicht festdrehen und dann immer kreisen, dabei immer wieder etwas den Druck über das Handrad nachregeln und schon wird das Rohr abgeschnitten. Das Gerät liegt gut in der Hand und ich habe nichts zu beanstanden.
