Unwrapping the rug was easy and it fell into a flat layer easily. Beautiful texture and I can tell it is very well made. It does not have a rubber backing so it’s reversible. Definitely worth the price!

Original review 2/2021: I wish the grey and white pattern were reversed, honestly. The grey is quite a bit darker, taking up much more of the pattern, than the photos show. My eyes and feet tell me it is a soft and stunningly beautiful rug (no odor and well-made) but I was hoping for something much lighter for my kitchen runner. Since this is a backup rug to my Dash & Albert cream striped runner, I will keep it. HIGHLY recommend though! Top notch quality and lovely to the touch, as my little cat can testify to! :)Updated review March 2022: I just ordered the identical runner so I could have two and look at the difference that a year makes in the photo! I assumed the new rug, identical serial number, was wrong since it was so dark but looked up my review and sure enough, it matches with the photo of my cat. SO, if you think it is too dark, was it 5-6 times and it will fade nicely to this soft grey. I have put the two runners side by side so you can see the difference a year of washing makes. The original runner is in perfect shape by the way., after all this time, just lighter.

Loved the rug so much that I bought a replacement for when this wears out. This is in our bedroom, we do not use a rug pad with it. It is very flat, so you would need a rug pad if you are looking for a thicker rug. The color goes so well with my bedding/decor. We live in a very sunny location and after 3 years have noticed some fading. If it were easier to get out from under our king bed I would rotate the rug quarterly or at least no-annually to help with the fading. It’s not reversible due to the ends being folded over and sewn for a finished end look, it’s a shame as it would prolong the life of the rug and offer a change in the pattern. Love the rug!

It took a while to find a runner that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing! This is a well-made, soft and durable rug for my hallway, I am so pleased!

In LOVE with this rug! I was reluctant to order such a large rug online, but I took a chance on this, and I'm so glad I did. This rug is soft, and actually has two different patterns to choose from. I preferred the pattern on the underside of the rug, and it looks great in my boys' room. It's also soft enough for my baby to play on comfortably, and doesn't produce any piling at all...something that has always been an issue with other rugs in my home. I would definitely recommend purchasing a rug pad if you order this, as it would certainly slide around without something to keep it in place. If anything ever happens to this rug, I will not hesitate to purchase again.

I bought several of these rugs after the first one as I love the colors, the design, and how soft it feels while being machine washable in theory (thought they don't recommend it). However, on each of the rugs, there are a few places where the tufts are coming up and out, but you can't just cut them off because it would leave a void in the pattern, so I need to find some fine or clear thread to sew these back in place. Even with this manufacturing defect, I still like this rugs a lot.

This rug is very soft and pretty and looks more expensive than it is. However, I would be cautious about putting it in a high traffic area as it is loosely woven and will probably pull easily. Also, even with a high quality pad it doesn't stay put. I bought an 8 x 10 for my little-used living room and it's perfect. Very pretty. Last caution: the pattern does seem to move a bit. I was happy when it was partially covered by furniture and my nausea abated.
