Does the bottom rigid？

Hi, Our Trunk Organizer includes 2 removable panels, put the panels down to flatten out the bottom two compartments to increase the load, it's strong enough to lift 50 lbs.

Does this trunk organizer have a velcro on the bottom to keep it from sliding around？

Hi, Our trunk organizer( all six size) have two velcros on the bottom, so it can be attached to your car/floor to prevent it from slipping and sliding around as well as going airborne in a crash or something.

Would this work on the bed of a pick up truck?

You don't mention if it's a covered bed, and I don't believe this is waterproof. Other than that, yes. There are several points from which you can secure the organizer to your desired spot in the bed - and the Velcro lid and pocket closures are very strong.
