How To Create Tree Sculpture: Step By Step Instructions - Fully Illustrated

I've tried making wire tree sculptures before, but I just couldn't figure out the hidden details. This book is great! Easy instructions, good illustrations. I went out and found materials for mounting my first tree, but I am glad I didn't mount it as I really wanted to try the different options and techniques offered all on the same tree (not recommended if you want to make a showpiece right out of the gate). Now I know which type of tree I want to make. One thing to remember is you can go to your basic department store and buy the floral paddle wire - for about $2.00 you will have enough wire to make at least two trees - maybe three.

Extremely concise, detailed, easy to follow directions for making the most realistic wire-wrapped trees imaginable. Sal writes in an open-ended manner so that you can easily take what he's taught you and move on to a new level of your own making.After creating 10 trees using Sal's method and some examples of finished trees I found on his web site, I have moved on to incorporate my own style and methods that just scream "unique"! Kudos, Sal!

I bought this as a companion to gem beaded & Bonsai wire trees. The illustration is just as awesome, and the size of this book sits well on the work table for reference. Great job. Highly recommended.

Very nice book. I've made these trees (or similar) for some time and this one takes a different approach than the one I began using for tree making. Very well written with clear instructions. Definitely a good choice for first timers and for those of us who wish to expand our talents and knowledge base a bit. Easy to follow.

Out of date. Old version that has very little usable info. Not a good how to book.
