It's a very good bathroom floor towel. As others have pointed out, this is not really a "rug" but a towel that you put on the floor. Like the ones you find in hotels. I was very happy with how thick it is. This is exactly what I was looking for. It feels at least three times as thick as a regular towel and it's a little bit stiffer. I use it in front of the sink. I like something that I can wash fairly frequently. The problem with rubbery backed rugs is that sooner or later, due to washing and the heat from the dryer, they WILL start shedding the rubbery material and when that happens, a thousand little white rubbery pieces get all over your washing machine and/or dryer. At that point you basically have to throw it away. Won't happen with this one. Well made and good quality for the price. The only issue is it is so thick it takes a longer time to dry in the dryer. But that's kind of a good thing. Moving forward I will probably give it regular dryer time and let it air dry the rest of the way

This mat is an excellent choice for any bathroom. It has absorbent fibers to withstand the water when coming out of the tub/shower. Doesn't take long to dry. The weight holds up even after washing. Love the variety of colors.

Pros: Nice terrycloth foot towel, well made, thick.Cons: smells horrible. hopefully smell comes out with a wash in hot water and a splash of bleach!Ordered the beige color, appears very light.

I ordered a dark gray one about a month ago and loved it so much that I ordered two more in this powder gray color. I have light gray ceramic tile in my bathroom and the powder gray compliments the floor. I was surprised at how thick the material is! They feel great stepping out of the shower or tub and they are so easy to wash. A great quality for the money!

I give it 3.5 stars out of 5. It is the towel like material I prefer, I am docking 1.5 stars because upon washing on gentle cycle in cold water (in a mesh laundry bag to further protect it. Using name brand gentle detergent and following up with a 4 minute low heat/tumble dry (this is why I used the bag originally), it still had a huge tear that looked like it unraveled. I noticed this because the 4 minute dry cycle was just so it wasn't so dripping wet when I went to air dry it.No softener or bleach was used. It was washed with one other mesh bag of small wash cloths that are very similar material (just maybe slightly softer in texture once dry)This bath mat, as much as it ticked all of tht boxes for form (hotel style towel bath mat), size and color. The durability issue is a big deal to me. Before I see if I can't sew or patch the unraveled section, I will post a few pics to add context to my review.

Use this everyday for our shower. Holds up well. The prior one we had lasted 3 years, so hopefully will get close to that with this one as well.

Bought to match other gray towels we already had. Unlike other bath mats, this is the bath towel version of it, which I was looking for. Easy to throw in laundry without having to wash it separately. Dries nicely although it will shrink a bit around the edges when dried in dryer. It stays soft regardless, absorbs water like regular towels, and great size. Exactly what I wanted. There are pros and cons of not having non-skid back, but water absorbability and washablity won the battle.
