Q: My oven says it can't be lined with foil, is this a good replacement?

Yes, I have lined my electric (element sits on top of this on it's little feet) oven with this and really like it. It is easy to clean now.

I looked it up and PTFE is basically the generic of Teflon which is lethal to birds. That's likely why your birds died. Teflon is toxic to humans too. It's used in so many pans. Teflon™ is a synthetic polymer, which is containing carbon and fluorine – this, therefore, makes it a Polytetrafluoroethylene. YES, Teflon™ is a PTFE. Teflon™ is a trademarked name for PTFE, owned by Chemours. I'll never buy non-stick pans ever again. There's a documentary on it too. I'll be sending this back immediately.

Q: where is this made ? A Will it release odorless chemical into my food during baking ?

The Non-stick Oven Liner is made in China. It will not release any chemicals. It is PFOA and BPA free. Advertisement on Amazon States made in USA..... Can you please give the truth ?

Q: Does it still come folded or rolled up? Customers have complained about folds/creases.

It comes rolled up in a color box. No folds or creases.
