As someone who intensely dislikes being hot and sweaty but has to get through Minnesota's hot and humid summers these are a life line! I do not feel sweaty when working at the barn with non cotton trousers on, actually forget I have these on under them! When I get home can just wear these shorts and no underwear shows through, not sheer but thin and soft. Plenty of all way stretch. No chub rub. Usually wear a 24/26 and buy these in 2x plus. Wash in the machine warm, dry in dryer on delicates. No shrinkage, no pilling. Have one for each day of the week. Also wear them under skirts.Will buy again when needed and would definitely recommend to all sizes.

Sizing is accurate. The material is very soft and fit is not too tight and fits good around legs.

I ordered these in the hopes of finding a comfortable pair of "modesty" shorts to wear underneath skirts and dresses that was NOT also shapewear. There are plenty of tight-fitting shapewear products that are designed to smooth and slim your bulges underneath your clothes, but let's face it ladies, these are not particularly comfortable to wear all day, especially if you are a plus-sized woman! I wasn't looking for this, but just something to keep me from exposing myself embarrassingly if I bend over or the wind catches my shorter dresses.These are just the thing I was looking for! The modal material is super soft and stretchy enough to move with your body but not be tight and binding. It is not a slick, silky material like the nylon and polyester that many undergarments are made of. It is lightweight and cool, perfect for helping with sweat and chafing on hot summer days.My biggest disappointment is that they do not have a cotton gusset sewn into the crotch area so that they can be worn in place of underwear. As far as durability goes, the modal material is rather delicate and it starts to wear out fairly quickly. The material pills up and starts to look kind of shabby, and stretches out a bit so it doesn't fit quite as smoothly. I do wash and dry them in the machine, so I imagine if you wanted to keep them looking nice longer, hand-washing and/or line drying would extend the life of the material. Even after they start to look shabby, they are sill extremely comfortable and I retire them from day-wear under my dresses to sleepwear and lounge-wear for lazy days!

I have purchased three different pairs of these shorts to wear under dresses during the summer. I have had mine for three years and they are still holding up. I live in a hot area, so dresses are comfortable year round. These shorts are great to limit chafing and provide some modesty under light weight dresses. I buy mine a size up so they are loose and can afford to shrink a bit. They are a lot cooler than dealing with hose or shape wear or even a nylon slip. The shorts don't ride up, so no intermittent tugging. The beige pair are thin and a bit see through, but I don't wear them out without something over them so I appreciate the lighter fabric. I highly recommend them as a nice undergarment for a summer dress.

This brand of shorts is the most comfortable of its kind I've ever worn. It has a gentle but well made elastic waist, so it doesn't feel tight at all but also doesn't slip down. The material is soft and stretchy but is nice and attractively form fitting. The shorts conform to your figure in a very flattering manner.I really enjoy that I will have longevity with this style of shorts, as they are not baggy and I will be able to continue to wear them as I lose more weight. They are also breathable and a bit thin but not in a negative way. It is very hot where I live and these are perfect for indoors or outdoors, in the darker colors, even the grey. I keep buying more!

I ordered the white shorts 1st and although some what see through, they are great for under short dresses or around the house. Then I decided to try the black hoping for the same thing. The black have a lace edging around the bottom that had started to tear before I had even worn them a day. It's too bad because they are really comfortable.

I am very curvy and have a small waist. I often find it very difficult to find pants, shorts, skirts, and shapewear that fit my waist. If the item fits my waist it is often a little too tight in the butt and thighs. If it fits my butt and thighs then it is way too big in the waist. I ordered these shorts to wear under dresses. They are very high waisted and fit perfectly around my waist. I never have any issues with them rolling down around my waist. They also fit very nicely around my hips. However, they constantly roll up my thighs. if they stayed in place they would be perfect. I still really like these shorts because they are comfortable and lightweight. They are not too constricting and hold everything in place well. I plan to purchase another pair. Even though they roll up on my thighs they are still good to wear under dresses and to wear around the house or sleep in. These shorts are very thin and you can see through them so I would not wear these out.

These shorts are not shape wear or Spanx so if that's what you're looking for these are not for you!! I recently bought a button up onsie to wear as a Halloween costume and I was looking for a pair or longer black shorts to wear underneath. I didn't care if they were Spanx or not- I just needed something to cover my underwear and belly incase the fabric moved the wrong way. These shorts are SO soft! Easily the softest material I've touched. They come down to right above my knee and are very comfortable. They hit a little above my waist so I feel like my stomach is tucked away. Mine fit me perfect, but there is elastic at the top so if you were to get a size too big I think they would still work. I can't wait to try these under dresses and skirts during the warmer months to see if it helps with chub-rub.
