Dragons & Mythical Creatures: An Image Archive for Artists and Designers Paperback – March 11, 2021

The drawing on the cover has been one of my favorite drawings of all time! What I didn't know was that it was part of a story and other drawings depicting different angles of the same event. I had seen a few of the other drawing in the book before, but most were new to me. I really enjoy looking through the book to find ideas or just themes to practice drawing. I'd say, the book is worth the purchase!

This book provides a nice reference of images to use as a reference when drawing.

I am impressed with the quality of the reprints. I find it very interesting to see what artist created so long ago.I would suggest anyone with interest in art, looking for ideas for your own sketches or tattoo ideas.I am considering ordering more books in the series now that I know the quality is so impressive.Company was very quick to respond to a question had.

These images come from historical sources - they are mostly engravings with rich detail. Many come from sources I have not seen before (as I collected a lot of Dover pictorial archive books many years ago). The images are a delight and an inspiration for anyone who enjoys monsters and strange creatures of yore.

A worthy book to have if you like printed reference material dragons and mythical creatures and the downloadable images is an added bonus. It might have been better if there was a separate volume for dragons and a separate volume for mythical creatures so that more examples of each could have been included.

Product arrived quickly and as described. Archive includes artwork information such as piece name which is very nice touch and has a nice variety of images.
