Dorman 1590131 GMC Passenger Side Headlight

This is a great replacement assembly. Everyone that’s poo pooing these in their review is obviously not taking their time to install them. Once installed you’ll most likely have to use the adjustment bolts to adjust the assembly itself to get it to sit properly and look factory. If you do not do this the fitment will look horrible and I think that’s why people are giving a bad review. Once the assembly is in and adjust properly, you can use the beam adjustment screws to adjust the beam. The whole thing just takes a little time but the results are great once done properly. Dorman is known for their high quality OEM replacement parts and these headlight assemblies are no different. Just don’t expect to remove them from the box and plug them in expecting them to fit perfectly right out of the box, they need adjustment to fit perfectly and with a little time and patience, they do!

The original headlight had been broken in the back by something hitting the front od the light. It was repaired using fibreglas but it was niticed it was considerably dimmer afterwards so it was replaced. Tge new light was a little tighter fit but still fairly easy to install and the improvement in lighting is amazing, so much so that the other headlight now looks dimmer and I’m considering replacing it as well. Results couldn’t be better

Alignment stud (plastic) on housing broke within 6 months leaving the headlamp to wobble in the cavity with no way to align left to right. Poor quality to have this happen in such a short time. Will try another manufacturer.

From start to finish. Had it installed in under 2 minutes.
