Soft plastic edge, Hard plastic back
The hard plastic back is what I was looking for. My previous cover had one and it held up well and never yellowed. There are other clear brands that look the same but have soft backs so double check the description before ordering. I'm very pleased with the Rayboen cover. It fits my s10e snugly. I was concerned the two silver button covers (on the left side) would be gawdy. Not so, you don't even notice them and they operate so smoothly.

Easy to install and seems to be doing a good job protecting phone
This is very easy to install. It just snaps on, no tools needed. It's also hardly noticeable and the cutouts for buttons, etc. all fit nicely. It feels comfortable to hold.Seems to be effective as I've dropped the phone more than once from waist height and the phone was not damaged. Value good as this was inexpensive as well. Overall I'm happy so far.
