I've purchased and used the WEIZE cheapo stuff, the 120ml is okay, 80 and 50, no bueno. Once applied, had to go back and hit the edges and in some situations, tack it down and it still pulled up around the edges later, mine did anyway. I prep the surfaces and warm the sections in the sun or the oven prior to getting to where you want it, it still, seems to be inexpensive for a reason.This NVX, very surprised. Thick, pliable, easy to cut, applied the same way, and no issues. Just did an entire car interior with it, definitely recommend it!

Very happy with this stuff. So far I have only used it on my two front door but the results are outstanding. Very easy to cut with a utility knife, sticks very well and folds around bends and corners of sheet metal much easier than I was expecting. I used two layers on the outside door and 3 layers behind the speakers with a foam pad on top to absorb back waves. Then i put it on the inner door and sealed off all of the holes including the massive hole that the manufacturer leave to service the window mechanism...hope i don't ever have to get back in there lol... I tapped on the outside of the door and then the other side that wasn't treated yet and the difference in resonance and vibration was substantial. I also gained a SIGNIFICANT amount of midbass from my Focal 165 k2 speakers. Also big difference in road noise. Still have plently left over to do the trunk when I get some more time. I'll be using NVX sound deadening in all installs I ever do from now on. Do not spend thousands on great speakers, amps, processing,.etc. without proper sound deadening and install. Excellent quality at a great value

I ordered these sheets specifically to cover my exposed tailgate of my Jeep jk to prevent rattling from my subs, when I got them I then realized they were folded twice and were all wrinkled up. I ended up working around the wrinkles by cutting them off. Doesn’t look great but looks ok. Ended up using the rest in the floorboards. For the price I would recommend using something different, if Kilmat would come in black I would’ve used it but it doesn’t. I used kilmat throughout the rest of my Jeep and seems to work good for a third of the price of this, their product also comes in smaller sheets and aren’t all scratched up and wrinkled which won’t matter if you’re putting it under carpet. I did reach out to nvs and they ended up sending me 10% back but still not worth the price difference to me.

as stated this is a fantastic product and the price is unbeatable! It is very dense for the thickness, conforms very easily (I recommend using a heat gun as you roll it for ease of install), very sticky and most of all it works! Installed in my 92 K1500 which was a complete rattle trap to say the least... The stereo would have everything in the truck flexing and rattling so bad I didnt even want to listen to it anymore... I applied to main problem areas (roof, inner door skins, rear wall of cab) and wow what a difference! Sounds so solid and very little exterior/road noise (and I have 3" exhaust and super 10 mufflers)... Will soon be re-installing the stereo equipment so I will update my review to let it be known the improvement there

Some of the thickest stuff on the market. The odor is very low and the quality of the aluminum is high. I was able to roll this into some pretty deep crevices without having the aluminum tear. I did two layers across my entire car and with half inch acoustic foam on top of everything the interior of my car has zero radiant heat except from the windows. No he transferring through my doors into my door panels for from my roof to my headliner. My air conditioning has to work a lot less hard how to keep my interior cool it might have added 60 or 80 lb to my car but the comforter is well worth it

Use it on the overhead console in my Grand Cherokee. When the bass hits hard it rattles like crazy. It did reduce the ratteling a lot, but you can still hear it. I might add a second layer.

I used two packs of this in an Acura RDX and reduced the SPL by 10 db (A weighting) at 70 MPH on course roads (measured by a real db meter, not a phone app). This was a very noticeable improvement. It should be noted that I covered all four doors, the rear hatch, the spare tire area, the floor and the wheel wells to achieve this much noise reduction. It was a lot of work but worth it. Ride was quieter and music sounded better.This material is fairly easy to work with and adheres well to any clean metal surface, even curved areas as long as the bends aren't too sharp. The first two packs were black and seemed to stick better than this third pack I purchased for another vehicle which is silver.I recommend this as a good sound deadening material at a reasonable cost.
