KX-WARE Melamine Plate, 11-inch Dinner Plates with Rope Edge Design, set of 6 White

I really don't like paper/plastic plates, but when you have a large party and people will be inside and outside, you need something that's not too heavy, won't bend or break, and is big enough to hold a burger off the grill along with some sides. I ordered multiple sets of these melamine plates to use for parties and they work great! Very light weight, BIG, and they look great - the edging is a nice detail. I get a lot of compliments on them and people are surprised they are melamine. The best part is because they are so slim, they don't take up a lot of space and they don't weight too much to stack up. I keep them in a linen closet and could have put all 40 plates in one stack. Love throwing them in the dishwasher too! Now I never worry about having enough plates and because white goes with everything, I use them all year round, and have fun napkins to dress them up.

These are sturdy and shiny and really niceplates. We ordered them for a project for our school, but I’d order more for my own use. Really nice and a good value.

They are especially nice to use beneath a salad bowl or smaller plate. I got the salad/pasta bowls to match & use on these plates. These are heavier & they match the plates & bowls perfectly! I will not worry so much about breakage when my young grandchildren are visiting!

I have been looking for some plates like this for a while now and was very happy to find these. They are the right size and being that they are white, they go with any decor on our patio, be it fancy or humble. I love the rope design on the outside edge, and they clean up a treat. I really like the look and the feel of them, great quality at a great price.

These are pretty and I love that we can take them out to eat on the deck and I don’t have to worry about them breaking. The stack nice and flat. They’ve held up great in the dishwasher. We have actually started using them for every meal!
