Americans are slow to adopt new concepts In plumbing. Asian and European markets enjoy the innovations of spa-like showers. Selected this combination of controls for our new shower. Well-made, and engineered to control three fixtures. With a thermostatic mixing valve, and three separate diverters: wall shower, handheld shower wand, and a overhead rain head. Excellent customer support and installation insight, KATAIS made this purchase a wonderful experience.

This is poorly manufactured. The valve stems don’t align with the trim plate. They have no customer service number anywhere I could find. Nothing ruins your day more than to go to trim out your shower and find that the trim won’t work. I have no idea what to do. I may have to tear apart my whole shower wall to replace the valve. Do not buy this product. I wouldn’t buy from the seller either. They apparently just want your money but offer no support.

The fixture arrived in a prompt manner and the quality of manufacture is nice. I had a problem with the unit I could not get the hot and cold inlets to seal, they leaked. I live in the US and assumed (as did my plumber) the inlet and outlet were standard 3/4 inch pipe thread fittings. Unfortunately the included instructions did not specify. I was frustrated with the product at this point. I contacted Katais who through email informed me that the unit had #5 metric threads and this was the reason it would not seal...wrong fittings. They offered adapters and I was afraid even with the adapters the unit now had damaged threads and would continue to leak. I ask them to replace the unit and provide adapters, they agreed. They sent a replacement unit threaded with standard 3/4 inch American PTF via Fed Ex from China (it took about 5 days). The replacement unit was installed without problem and no leaks. Katais fixed my problem with the unit promptly, there response was quick so I give them an A +for this. Unfortunately I am out additional cost of instillation and delay on the project. A simple notation in the instructions would have prevented all of this. The unit I now have is attractive, well built (solid) and I look forward to many years of use.

I have installed it, and in general it would be VERY good... except that the 'thermostatic' dial which controls temperature without needing hot/cold dials DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK.... which means it is not at all usable. :(Strangely, their is NO EMAIL and NO PHONE number... so it's very hard to see how to fix the issue, or it's the actual item is defective. It would be a much better item if there was some Seller or manufacturer support... but despite them saying they will help, there is no listed way to reach them.. so it doesn't work and I can''t give more than 1 star

Installation of the valve system was easy and seems to work well, however, when I tried to install the faceplate the holes do not properly align with the knobs. It’s impossible to get on.
