fit my honda fourtrax 300 like a champ and does an amazing job. The throttle cable was different though so I had to replace the old throttle cable and it was very tight to get the new one attached. Otherwise amazing product would buy again.

Carb came to me exactly as described in the description and I was actually quite shocked when I removed the original carb from my quad. I found it quite difficult to distinguish between the original and the one I just purchased. They looked identical with the exception of the obvious years of wear and tear and heat etc... It was nothing major to exchange. Basically what I would call a "Plug & Play" scenario, if you will. The only Negative I did get from it wasn't really a big deal but, the throttle cable seemed to be a tad bit short. Plus, I was actually already aware this could be possible from reading the reviews of others who had purchased the same item so, I was ready for it when I seen it for myself.NOTE: YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE THE THROTTLE CABLE THAT COMES INSTALLED ON THE CARB. IF IT DOESN'T WORK IN YOUR APPLICATION, JUST REMOVE IT AND SIMPLY CONNECT THE ORIGINAL THROTTLE CABLE END INSIDE THE NEW CARB YOU ARE INSTALLING AND BUTTON IT UP. SIMPLE AS THAT.After installing the new carb I also installed a new air cleaner and spark plugs. This carb change was done back in December 2019 and I can honestly say, I haven't had a seconds worth of trouble with it since then. By ordering the carb from Amazon I saved $310.00 because the local ATV store (Honda) quoted me $350.00 for the part alone. Installing the carb myself also saved a chunk of money on the labor. Then, making wiser choices on the type of gasoline I run in all my outdoor equipment and my ATV's I believe has made a huge difference now and will make all my machines last many years longer than before. I now run "NON-ETHANOL" GASOLINE in everything I own and I can tell the difference. Listen, you're gonna see some good reviews and you're gonna see some bad reviews but, if you have just a little bit of mechanical ability to maybe turn this so it faces this way or that so it faces that way then I do believe you'll be fine with the purchase. Is everything we purchase for less always the best one to get? Well, I'd be a fool to say yes to that because it's simply not true. But to only spend $36 to save myself over $300, then yeah, I'll take my chances.
