Octopus Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle 135 Pieces, 17.3"x13.6" with Unique Shapes for Adults by WoodGalaxy

Similar to so many other reviews, we LOVE the beauty and unique shapes of the WoodGalaxy puzzles. Challenging to put together, but small enough to do in a single sitting. There are a few things that could be done to improve these puzzles at very low cost to the manufacturer:1) Include a printed larger picture of the puzzle art in the box.2) A few pieces are quite fragile at very narrow points. They're very easy to break and therefore are not small kid friendly.3) The boxes these puzzles come in are works of art themselves and look great on the shelf. However, some don't stay closed and if they pop open you've got a mess. They are also just big enough to squeeze the pieces into, so when we tried putting the pieces in a zip lock bag to avoid losing them, we couldn't get them in the box. Not staying closed wouldn't be a problem if the boxes were slightly larger so the pieces could fit in a bag.We highly recommend these puzzles and have given them as gifts. ENJOY!

I am FINALLY getting to do this puzzle. So different than other puzzles and very challenging because of the unique shapes. It really makes you think and now I am addicted and have an order for other one. Fantastic quality too! Great colors.

This puzzle with its sea life shaped pieces is really cool to look at and fun to put together. The pieces are thick and fit together well, despite the very specialized shapes. If you are into framing puzzles, this would be a winner, the colors are really vivid and pretty, and it fits perfectly into a standard size frame (you would need to put puzzle glue on it or figure out how to support it, it is not a rectangle - it is an octopus! It is rated for adults, although i completed it with my two teenagers over Christmas break.

I really liked this puzzle. It was actually pretty easy and doesn't take that long to do. I liked all the animals but was hoping for more ocean themed animals with the octopus. The colors were nice, none of the wood pieces were broken, and I liked the thickness too. This would make for a nice gift for those who enjoy puzzles.

The tween found it too challenging, but grandma and grandpa finished it while the tween was at the aquarium with mum. We enjoyed it very much, the tactile feeling of the wooden puzzle pieces and challenge of the colors and patterns gave us the satisfying end result of a uniquely shaped puzzle solved. The box is not that sturdy and the puzzle pieces are not provided in a bag for storage in the less than stellar box, but is easily remedied with our our bag for storing the pieces to avoid loss in case of accidentally dropping the box.

This puzzle is great! It was so much fun to do and difficult with all the crazy shapes. The problem I had with it, and was read to dish out 3 stars for it is the box it came in was destroyed. Its too bad too because it would have been a very cool box to have. Instead of a cool box, I got a mailing envelope filled with wood shards and puzzle pieces. I had to wonder if all the pieces were there, and when I was close to the end I thought for sure some were missing, but they weren't. It was just a big challenge and only seemed like something must be missing. I love it when they are like that at the end.

I loved that it was free form. The color was very vibrant. I'd say it's not an easy puzzle, but not the most difficult either. It will be a couple of hours of great fun!

Loved this puzzle. I purchased it (along with 2 others) to bring on my annual trip with my adult daughters. Perfect way to pass an evening or two, just being together.We especially loved the recognizable shapes hidden amongst the puzzle pieces. They were like tiny presents, fun to discover.
