Worked great on 09/15 acadia(some may consider this 2016). Was not programmed. I called around and most shops said they could not help me at all. One said he has a mobile programmer he uses and we would be at his mercy as to when he felt like messing with it. Called the dealer i bought the car from and confessed that i had installed a trans module without any programming. They said no problem , bring it too us and we will work it while waiting for parts for other jobs. In 3 days they called and said it was done. Indeed it was. $150. I felt that was a bargain based on other conversations i was having. You will only have 1st gear and reverse. I was close by dealer and had my wife follow me . Liftgate and back up camera will not work before programming. Can anyone tell me if there is a core charge for this and if so ,where do i send it to. Thanks LyndellWould have given 5 stars but no where on description does it say needs programming.One more tip. Cant find dexron vi anywhere. My dealer did not have any in stock. They gave me name of local warehouse. Find the local gm warehouse in your area that supplies the dealers. Price was great and actual dexron vi ....not some one size fits all blend .
