It's hard to find assorted cards. I write a lot of thank you cards, and I don't want to keep sending the same one. So it's great to see this set in which each card is different. And they are all lovely. I don't know if you can see it in the images here, but there's a butterfly in one and a dragonfly in another. They're really beautiful watercolors. They come packaged in a serviceable plastic "envelope." The card stock is a good weight and the inside is not slick so you can write on it without smearing. The envelopes are white. The company is very friendly, and includes a free postcard with your order, an affirmation that "you're the best," and some sealing stickers. Refreshing.

The deep blues and purple colors and the images of the exquisite Iris were so unique and I found them to be absolutely stunning ~ they'll make "you" feel good just looking at them, let alone taking pen in hand to make some personal note ~ perhaps some "sweet talkin' " ~~ put the beautiful note card in backpack or lunchbox or book or somewhere you believe they will find it when you want them to ~~ Good luck ~~ the cards are a perfect size to convey any message and the dark piece along one side ~~~ "love note" -- special remembrance date, etc. ~~~ There is such a wide and diverse selection of cards available, one is certain to find topic and/or image that will appeal... Oh, just a note to say that on the inside of the Iris cards there is a small, color or black & white image of a butterfly ~ each one being unique on its own ~ on the inside, lower left of each card ~ and the image which covers the entire front of the card also beautifully wraps around to the back to complete the image ~ quite nice ~ thoughtful...

Full barcode on the back of each card including the amazon product information, "M3314 Watercolor Botanical...ards w/Matching Envelopes. New"is not really something I need to send out on my letters for people.Also, the logo (also on the back of every card), "NOT PRINTED IN CHINA" with a red star is a little weird. I actually try to avoid Chinese products, but "Made in the USA" would be a little more positive, and I am not what one would describe as a dedicated patriot. The tone of NOT PRINTED IN CHINA is just weird for a nice little note I'd be sending out, and why include the Chinese Red Star if you are trying to make a point it is not Chinese? Super odd!The paper is decent stock, the tinted color inside is nice, but overall the back just ruins the whole thing.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about these cards not being quality or as pictured or concern about what the back says. Have you tried looking for nice notecards in the stores? These are stunning; the inside isn’t glossy so writing on them is fine. I am buying them as a gift but will now buy more for myself. Maybe the product has improved since some of the poor reviews.There was concern about the solid blue strip on the Iris. Get over it. They are stunning with one exception. One of the Iris designs is gray and ugly where all the others are vibrant and gorgeous. I am just discarding that one. Still worth it. I got the peonies and the iris and find them worthy of framing!!

I purchased these cards to send to clients as Thank You notes. I appreciate that they're blank inside and the envelopes which come with them are lovely. Yet, the cards themselves (which look luxurious online) aren't as appealing in person as I'd hoped they'd be. Maybe they're just too glossy? That sort of finish negates the vintage feel of the imagery. I did buy them for a low price, so that's something to be thankful for. But I'm not as excited about sending them out as I'd hoped.

When I saw these I thought they were so beautiful so I ordered them immediately and couldn’t wait to get them in. I send a lot of note cards and like to have something special and different, and these looked like they were going to be just what I was looking for. But I was totally disappointed and sent them back. They were burry and looked NOTHING AT ALL like the picture. In fact you could hardly tell what they were. Very disappointing!

I love irises. The beautiful purples and blues. And I love cards that are different. Not your typical card, just lovely little note cards to send to friends and family.THESE are even better than I thought they would be!LOVELY glossy cardstock on the outside and great matte to write on on the inside. I also love the extended border.STUNNING.

I bought these cards because they were labelled (in accompanying text) as Made in USA. An insert in the packet declared them 'Printed in Canada' -- perhaps, but Canada is not the United States. More puzzling is the stamp on the back of each card, which reads "NOT Made in China" with a red star underneath. If the cards were made in the USA, why not just print that? (Ditto if made in Canada...) There's something very odd about the cards...the graphic is lovely, but the dye/ink/surface is oil. I'm giving the cards to a charity for resale.
