Best blender ever. Worth it!
Great book for information and recipes. Shows how to use machine for hot and cold soups and salad dressings. Foods and smoothies. Gave to my niece and makes smoothies every morning for her son. Also uses it for other food items. Says it is a good book. Going on a detox diet with the Vitamix blender changed everything for me and this cookbook is the PERFECT guide to the Vitamix! It's full of superfood smoothies and all kinds of fantastic recipes. I highly recommend this for anyone who owns a Vitamix.

Very helpful for our new healthy lifestyle
Perhaps I never really knew about Vitamix, as a long time fan of the brand I have always used it for simple juicing operations. It wasn't until this book that I learnt that there are so many different ways to use it. Apart from fruit juicing and smoothie making, I can also use it as a reference helper for desserts and milkshakes. Peanut butter mousse, chocolate pudding, cherry yoghurt - just the names make my mouth water. What surprised me even more was that I was able to use this book to make ice cream using a vitamin blender, which is what I was most interested in. My favourite food is blueberry ice cream and when I read this book I was already eager to try it. I couldn't wait to roll up my sleeves and get to work. This book has made it possible for me to stop limiting my creativity in cooking. And one of the good things about this book is that the ingredients are all everyday items, so you don't have to wait for a long time for an ingredient to arrive before you can start making it. That would have made me very anxious, after all I am a person who wants to do something as soon as I think of it and I don't like to wait. The ingredients in the recipe are easy to work with and the process is simple and easy to follow. This feature is very much to my liking! The recipes are very healthy and suitable for dieters. The ingredients and toppings used are all green and healthy without excessive sugar and energy intake. My husband is a severely high fat person and his doctor has given him a serious warning to eat healthy and bring his weight down. Otherwise another period of high blood pressure will cause further damage to his body. So we decided to start with the diet. Throwing all the unhealthy foods out of the house and learning about lower-fat ways of preparing food. He is a very fussy person when it comes to food so I need to make sure that the food is low-fat but also that it has a unique flavour. None of us want to use food as a means of punishing ourselves. So when we came across this recipe, we felt we had come to the right place. Several recipes have been tried so far and each one has been near perfect. Hopefully in the long run we can achieve our goal of a healthier life.

Great cookbook
I have now given this cookbook to at least four other Vitamix users. The recipes are easy to follow and they're delicious! Roasted Eggplant and Tomato Soup - amazing; Easy Hummus - delicious; Smoothies - super kid friendly ...... I will continue to give this book as a gift to all my Vitamix owning friends.Because I think anyone who owns a Vitamix blender should have this. Cooking with the Vitamix is a different but easy to learn cooking technique. the Vitamix Blender Cookbook for Beginners is a great source. The recipes are simple, the ingredients are basic and many you already have on hand. You can prepare ethnic foods, prepare dough for quick breads, sauces, dips, hot soups and, yes, ice cream. All of this is done with an easy to handle countertop unit. The preparation instructions are very good and usually take no more than six quick steps. For some recipes, such as soups, you may need to season the final product to taste. These recipes are quick and nutritious and you won't find yourself looking for exotic ingredients. the Vitamix recipes will appeal to vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. I love Vitamix. i love the power and longevity of Vitamix products. And Vitamix mixes everything you throw in really well. When you want a smooth texture, this is the machine to get! What better way to use it for recipes than to help you use it well?Great value for money, that's how I feel about this book. I really expected more 'wow' from it, especially as it is so closely linked to the Vitamix brand. I have made four to five recipes from this book so far and feel that all of them need to be tweaked by me to please me and my husband. There are indeed many gems here and I think for most Vitamix lovers, apart from finding individual recipes online according to their own preferences is the book to try. A very simple and informative book. Fantastic recipes. I just got this book today and decided to thumb through it. I cannot believe the wonderful recipes that are contained in this book. I can’t wait to try some. Most of the ingredients most people will already have at home.
