Love this retro tv and the fireplace feature make the item cozy to look at and enjoy. Item was shipped fast and packed securely. There's one tiny paint mark on the inside of the screen but it doesn't take away from the overall effect (and I don't notice it when the flame effect is on). Hopefully the batteries will last for a while but I'm testing it out to see how long it runs for gaging when I have to add new ones (but I have back-up batteries ready to go to keep the flame going - LOL). Love this item and if a pluggable version becomes available, I'll definitely buy that one too.

It arrive with a broken "TV screen" , its much smaller than the pictures shown, its very light weight and total plastic. More of a plastic toy heater, than to be used for a space heater :(

It’s just a fire inside a television, and I love it. The little knob can turn the fire level from low & glow to burn it all down. I wish it had a plug-in option because the battery thing is a bit of a bummer. But it’s beautiful and perhaps it should be enjoyed in small doses. Failing that, invest in rechargeable C batteries.

I was so excited for this. I saw the box, brought it to my room. Opened it up, and boom the screen was broken. And then the batteries are screwed up. I am really disappointed. If you are getting it for yourself, it might be okay; but I wouldn’t count on it for a last minute gift.
