Fodor's Essential Greece: with the Best of the Islands (Full-color Travel Guide)

A must read for anyone visiting Greece and the Islands

I usually buy Fodor's when I travel and I like them. But the binding drives me insane. They print so close to the spine you can sometimes not read complete sentences. Unfortunately, I tend to forget that when I need another travel book.

This book is well organized and enjoyable to read. It provides maps, sample itineraries, helpful customs and a breakdown of information for each area/location.

I like to read about where I'm going beforehand. Plus Fodor's always have some great eat places (telling you what type of food to expect and cost range). They always some ideas for free time if you are on a trip tour. I carry it in my little backpack, occasionally it has been a life saver.

Like all Fodor's guides it is professional and comprehensive. Logically laid out with good maps. Restaurant reviews are very well done. Hotel reviews are likewise

Easy to find locations of intetest

If you are traveling, then you simply must have a Fodor's guide to where ever you are headed. My husband and I have traveled all over Europe and our Fodor's guide got us to see all the highlights of each city we visited. We know that this book will help us greatly when we go to Greece this summer. We wouldn't travel without it.
