Writing Models Year 6

Disappointed when I realised what this book was. There's hardly any guidance on how to use it or teach the content, just sample texts that you are allowed to photocopy and distribute in class. I was hoping it would be a book with step by step lessons and teaching advice for writing in year 6, not just sample/model texts with no guidance, looked at the content and wasn't even sure how I would use it so decided to return.

Big mistake - I bought the kindle version! Useless for printing off the photocopiable resources - I assumed that this would have been possible as it is marketed for these resources.Don't know why they sell it as a kindle book!!

Great for teachers using the Talk4Writing model.

It is fantastic for guided reading sessions with extracts from a range of genres. It saves teachers loads of time as well which is always a bonus

A must for primary school teachers
