The value of this tool is invaluable because of all the options it opens up to allow a average person to very neatly splice two different colors of paracord together and it still looks like new. This one tool helped me be able to produce a nice and neat design bracelet worthy of putting a actual value on it.

Handy little tool
Worked great for a beginner learning knots and splicing with a variety of laid rope types. The handle feels nice in the palm and it reduced the strain on my arthritic hands compared to trying to do everything with my fingers.

Sharp edges and a wooden handle made out of genuine plastic. If it were just the edges and not the handle I'd have given it 4 stars and cleaned them up myself. But like you're not going to notice the tan PLASTIC that just screams at you.

Great Swedish fid
Very nice fid. Sturdy. Nice price and quick shipping. The inside of the metal on the edges are sharp but can easily be smoothed out with a file or sandpaper. Other than that this is a nice tool that will be used regularly.
