So it was a little over 14 dollars, but my son uses it like a bookbag. He keeps all of his work in there to keep organized and it comes with pockets. I like how durable it is as well. Well worth the 14 dollars.

Long lasting and really big!

Holding up so far on month 3 of school for a 5th grade student. I like the extra compartments it has to keep him organized!

Not sure if we received a previously returned item and that's why it has a smell. But even after airing it out a few days before school started, it still is holding on. It was too late to return the item, so we're trying other ways. Hopefully this isn't the norm for this product, because otherwise it seems great.

Don’t hesitate just buy it. This lasted my 8 year old all year and still looks brand new. I’m a teacher…I see lots of binders. This is definitely teacher approved!

I got this for my son for his school papers. I also got a pack of 3 ring punched Five Star folders because I assumed they would fit in this binder...but they don't fit!! I was able to zip the binder with an empty folder inside, but only after bending the corners of the folder. I think it's crazy that a Five Star binder does not fit a Five Star folder - is it just me, or does it seem reasonable that most kids would use a folder with a binder? I feel this is something their designers could have picked up on if they had done any research or put any thought into how their user would use this item. I would have returned it but I had already cut off all the tags. One positive is that it appears to be very sturdy.

My son loves this binder - it includes pockets and folders and so much space - he can fit not only papers but his pencils and pens and even his calculator. It’s perfect.

I am using this to put in all my resources for a language course it holds everything I need for a study session. This was a great purchase for me it just goes to show that reading other people's reviews makes everything worthwhile. I have stuffed it full a little bit but I think due to the good quality of the materials I will not have to replace it for a while. It lives up to its name Five Star.
