All the Spot-it games put their little brand character “Spot”, (the glove w/ one eye) on the cards, no matter the theme.

Q: In what world is this a game for a 15-year-old?

Uh… not sure, but it’s fun for all ages. I’ve been known to play with my granddaughter and I’m 65!

Q: why is there an difference between card amounts? is this game still fun to play even through there is less cards?

There are fewer cards (30) because it is for younger children. More cards (55) allows for more players and more cards per player. This makes it a more complicated game and longer lasting. There are also only 6 pictures per card on the Dory cards whereas the other sets made for older children have 8 pictures per card -- more confusion and searching leads to more fun. I was a little disappointed that I missed that detail, because I was looking to use these cards with middle school children who can do more complicated tasks. Anyway, if you have younger children, this is a good set because they won't be frustrated by it.
