Sorry, can't help you with that specifically. What I can say is that it works flawlessly with my Dell D430 laptop. It was a drop in upgrade after cloning the OS onto it.

I have used this with 30GB, 80GB and 120GB ZIF drives (toshiba and hitachi) as well as the Compact Flash adapters. The width of the cable in this unit is the same width as the disk end of the zif cable ribbon in your ipod. Hope this helps.
