Small birds will find a way
Easy to use and they worked for some birds early on in the season but obviously these persistent House finches found a way to squeeze between the spikes. Just be aware that these by themselves may not be sufficient.

Repellant birds from building nests.
Excellent. Easy to install with double stick tape. Birds visited once but could not build nest. Great product.

The quality is very good, I will continue to buy
My problem is that the bird has been nesting under my window air conditioner for many years, and I have to get it out of it every two weeks. It is strip-shaped with beautiful pointed stainless steel spikes on it. I use a tie The strap is fixed to the bottom of the air conditioner, and there are still surrounding areas, and now there are no signs of birds building nests.

Interesting concept, but keeps squirrels from climbing the pole
Pretty easy to pop the spikes in the plastic holders. You have to come up with your own way to install as nothing is included. There are holes if you want to try screws/nails. I zip tied three of the five the pole of my feeder and squirrels do not seem to know how to get past them. FYI: I have a raccoon that goes right up the pole (but stopped by a torpedo baffle) as the spikes do not seem to bother it at all. Birds will sit on them sometimes. But it does help to keep the squirrels from climbing. Just put them like two feet or so off the ground or they will jump past the spikes.
