Q: The width is stated as 4.80", which is larger than either of the package dimensions which aren't the length - 3.268" and 2.008". Which is correct?

The dimensions of the 5 12 socket strips I purchased are 36" long, 1.5" wide, 1.25" tall without the mounting clips. The clips add about .25" inch out to to the height. I also purchased several 16 socket strips. They are about 48" long with same height and width. Very well built and will buy again when I need more.
