Star Wars: Thrawn Series Books 1 - 3 Collection Set by Timothy Zahn (Thrawn, Alliances & Treason)

Bought as a gift for Christmas! Husband isn't a big reader but loooooves star wars! He's been actively reaching for these books rather than TV or games at the end of the day, so I'd say they must be pretty good!

One of the most underrated characters in the Star Wars universe is given a 5-star development by Timothy Zahn. Best SW trilogy I’ve ever read; had to fight off my kids so I could finish it first before they secluded themselves in a room to DEVOUR all three books in rapid succession. The history and rise of Thrawn to his lofty position, his mindset and intersecting loyalties are all vividly captures in this stirring gift to the SW canon by T.Zahn. The galaxy-spanning war, Tharen’s cometlike ability to draw people into his wake, his brilliant analytical style and his rivalry with a certain white-caped rival over which no one (***Spoiler alert***) wept at during the end of Rogue One are all skillfully woven into a tapestry far above most derivative work in Lucas’ space opera. Read it. Learn from it. Memorize it. Thrawn.

Books were not damaged. Really enjoyed the first one and will continue on.

I enjoyed reading this series by Timothy Zahn. I have read other Star Wars books by him. It keeps you engaged with the characters and sometimes I had a hard time putting it down!

A good background for Starwars TV PROGRAMS

Got this as a gift for my friend's birthday and he loves Thrawn so hopefully he will really like the set as I have myself as I already read them

EXCELLENT SERIES! Timothy Zahn is my favorite author by far. His depiction of Thrawn and his thought process is intriguing, and it's super cool to see what Thrawn was up to in between Rebels episodes. I was an avid reader in school, but hadn't picked up a book in 5 plus years. This trilogy got me back into reading.

Excellent books. Honestly the new shows show the incompetence of the new republic.Clearly the universe would be better if Thrawn ruled it.Long live the empire.

Ich bin großer Legends-Fan, mag die Original-Trilogie sehr und war entsprechend skeptisch. Ich bin aber auch großer Thrawn-Fan und fand jede Seite einfach nur toll. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, die Gedankenwelt und Entwicklung Thrawns aus einer neuen Perspektive zu verfolgen. Für mich eine (positive) Überraschung und daher eine klare Empfehlung.
