Very sturdy!
It is very sturdy and exactly what I needed. It works perfectly to hold a ring light, camera mount, and sandbag (for stability). We use it for overhead videos and photos. Highly recommended.

Very solid build
I purchased two of these NEEWER Stainless Steel 10.8ft C Stand with Boom Arm Pro's to use in some high volume photography projects I have going on and was very pleasantly surprised at the high end quality. They are solid, have a great weight to them and being able to get a light source up in the 10ft range is fantastic for me.My only minor complaint is that they didn't come with any sort of bag or case to store and transport them cleanly. I ended up buying this Neewer dual C-Stand case separately and love it, especially the shoulder strap because these C-Stands are NOT light. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CK226XVW)

BEST AMAZON PURCHASE EVER!!!
After seeing so many positive reviews of this light stand, my expectations were pretty high, and I was preparing myself to be disappointed.Instead, my expectations were far exceeded!!!This thing is built like a TANK! It's fully capable of holding my Flashpoint XPLOR 600 light with 4 ft umbrella Softbox without a counterweight and with no bending of the horizontal rod.I've never before been so satisfied with an Amazon purchase.

A truly class "A" C-Stand
I do a lot of photo and video production and have found this a fantastic light stand, one that is well designed, durable, and functional. I appreciate the quality materials and ease of adjustment as well as the ability to place it on flat or inclined/stepped surfaces. It's not lightweight by any means, but I wouldn't trust it with my expensive equipment if it was less sturdily built. In fact, it's heavy enough that you can tell it's designed more for studio work than for portable use in the field. For example, you can't align all 3 legs for easy carrying without using the included Allen wrench and it doesn't come with a carrying case/bag. Nevertheless, I've dragged it out on location simply by separating the boom from the main stand several times without much difficulty. It probably goes without saying, but if you haven't owned a c-stand before you should know that it will require a few sandbags if you're using anything semi-heavy (more than 5 or 6 pounds) on the boom, such as a continuous output light and deflector or umbrella. Neweer's brand bags are as good as any, though I use weights from an old fitness vest instead of sand so that they don't make any mess. I've found it balances a bit better with a counterweight on the boom arm too, but that's somewhat optional based on your strength and use case.All-in-all this is a very good c-stand, well worth what I paid for it.

The last tripod you will need to buy!
As a professional photographer, I have purchased many tripods and light stands due to their bolts and locks coming loose or braking within months of using them. This stand is made in such a way that you will not need to replace them any soon. Yes, they are more expensive but the benefits are many, including: The material is impossible to break, the legs spread wider than any other stand, giving your lights more stability (we all had lights falling on the ground and braking due to the tripod not having a good base), they can adjust to bring your lights higher than normal stands, and you can use them for vertical lighting as well as using the extra arm to position them horizontally on top of your model's head or product to achieve the desired look. Some times spending a little more, will mean saving money in the long run by not having to buy light stands for a very long time, besides, your studio will look next level.

Very solid build with slight flaws
This c stand has very solid build and definitely sturdy enough to hold you expensive gear. If you are stuck on name brands than this c stand is not for you. If you are just looking for a c stand that is built solid and sturdy and will handle the job despite little cosmetic issue and will not break the bank, than this c stand if for you. I have been testing this thing under very windy conditions of course with sand bag using a Godox AD400pro and a Neewer 300W strobe light and this thing performed like a champion. I actually do not have any qualms trusting my very expensive gear mounted on this under any circumstances. Now for the down side I have saw some reviews that talk about rust. I may see this on mine but it mostly imaginary probably because I heard this. I did see something that looks a little like it could rust but definitely not as pronounced as the review indicates and this is not the slight flaw that I am really speaking about. The foam on mine came in with a cut in it straight out the box. This is nothing that I would believe is going to last the life time of the c stand anyway. I would recommend using some tape around it any to protect it from the weather elements anyway. I don't even consider this reason to return. I know I could probably spend more money for something that will not do a better job and who know it could flaws as well. The cut in the foam is the only reason I just gave it 4 stars and if I could give it 4.5 stars I would. Gret product, save your money and get some more gear.

Good quality stand for the price
Heavy-duty and sturdy stand, I have bought the version with casters which is easy to maneuver with large soft box. I wish Neewer has included a carry on bags and counterweight sandbags.
