1st Impression - Trinidad Pimento Peppers
21-Mar-2022: So far so good. About 90% of the seeds I planted have spouted. It took about 9 days for the 1st spout, and 11 days for the remaining seeds. The plants look healthy and are growing at a very good pace. At this early stage the sprouts look like other pepper plants. I used Kellogg Garden Organics All Natural Garden Soil for Flowers and Vegetables, with Perlite (20%) and Miracle-Gro Shake 'N Feed Tomato, Fruit and Vegetable Plant Food. The final test will be to see actual Trinidad Pimento Peppers on the plant. Bye, until I see peppers.

Wasn't super easy to grow but once you get it going its worth it
I tried to grow these 2 years before I finally succeeded the third year was the charm. I highly recommend following the instructions the seller gives the first year I put the seeds directly in a pot without soaking them in the tea solution and I think they were getting direct sunlight which is not good for early stages of growth they can burn in the sunlight so that was my fault they didn't grow. The second year I used peat pellets though the instructions clearly state do not use peat pellets. So when I did the plant actually popped up this time as a tiny seedling but never did anything else stopped growing after it was a couple centimeters tall, once again totally my fault. So the third year I finally decided to follow the instructions and I'm glad I did I started them out in tiny pots using a seed starting soil and soak them in the tea solution before that it was chamomile tea it recommended you do that for a couple of days anyway once they were soaked I put them in the seed starting soil end I left them outside but to where they were not in direct sunlight they were under my deck doing this worked and I eventually transplanted them to the garden. I did not have pepper till late summer and they didn't turn red and till the end of August or September anyway I finally did and the peppers were delicious very unique fruity flavor I had never tasted anything like it the smell was different too I'm growing them again this year and I will always follow the directions from now on I will say though I did not follow the grow light step it was not necessary for me it might be for people in colder regions when starting it out but for Texas weather starting them in shade were they get light but not direct light will work if you start them in March. I have noticed some negative reviews of people that did not see them germinate I cannot speak for them but I will say following the steps I did should definitely work!

Looking Good So Far!
I purchased these seeds on January 17, 2020. Here we are 8 months later and I'm happy to share what my experience has been so far. Upon receiving the seeds I found the instructions to be overwhelming and I did not follow them. Instead I purchased one of those greenhouse seed starter kits from Home Depot and a heat mat to place it on. I planted these seeds in the seed starter at the beginning of March and placed it on a south facing bay window. By May, I was able to transplant the seedlings into a small sized pot. I only watered it when the soil was dry and kept it in direct sunlight. In August, I transplanted again to a much larger pot and began to see major growth. As of today, I have my first flower on the plant and am hoping to see a little pepper soon. The plant is getting pretty tall so I had to add some supports (wooden chopsticks lol) to keep it straight. I plan to update this review when I get an actual pepper :) I've added photos with dates to show plant progression.

99%+ germination
Package says 10+ seeds but I got 36 "plantable" seeds. I followed the instructions that came with the package and all but 1 seed germinated. I soaked seeds 2/1/22. From there, the pictures are this morning 2/23/22. My basement temperature is a constant 72 degrees and I have kept them under growlights 24/7 since putting them in a coco coir soil blend.UPDATE April 23rd. Starting to harden them off
