Orabrush Tongue Cleaner

I had never used any type of oral "tools" outside of a regular toothbrush before considering this purchase. With the interest of getting something to help improve hygiene without having to put in a lot of effort to maintain, this seemed to easily fulfill my need. I will say that I didn't notice any major difference in breath cleanliness, but I can't say it didn't have some improvement after seeing what it had helped remove.Pros:The bristles are quite soft to the touch, including when running down your tongue.The back side (used for scraping the tongue), is effective at gathering up the dirty saliva. I was easily able to see what kind of effect it had.The handle is as sturdy as any standard toolbrush.Cons:The soft bristles may be -too- soft. It felt like the bristles didn't really do anything and that the scraper alone is what did all the work.The scraping part may be a little too rough due to its angle. It isn't obsessive, but scraping the wrong way or too firmly felt a bit painful.

I bought this original Ora-Brush back in 2010 and I loved the soft bristles, the wide head and how well it worked on my tongue! I have had to buy the new version (Orabrush is all one word now and it has a raised piece at the top) which I don't like nearly as well. I have added pictures. I am very much hoping since the picture is of the old one with this company that I get what's advertised.UPDATE: What you are buying here is the exact same new version that you can pick up in any store for 1/2 this price. The picture that was shown when I made this purchase is of the original version without the annoying ridge along the back. I am very disappointed. I would pay double to get the original version of this product.

The flexible bristles make this more effective and MUCH more comfortable to use than the scrapers I've tried that don't have any. I have bought a couple different kinds over the years but this is the only one I'm completely satisfied with.

I wanted to like this. It appears to be a useful tool but I didn't like it as much as my Dr. Tung's and ended up going back to that one when I feel the need to tongue scrape.I use both an adult size toothbrush and child's size to access my wisdom teeth way in the back. I use the child's size toothbrush to brush my tongue too and it works just as good as this tongue cleaner due to its smaller size, in my opinion.

I had bad breath and a kinda white tongue before I started using the Orabrush. I use it along with Tung tongue cleaner and BreathRx tongue spray. My tongue routine is to brush my tongue with the Orabrush and Tung, then scrape; after that rinse with water. Then I spray my tongue (making sure I reach the back) with BreathRx tongue spray, then scrape. Then I rinse with BreathRx mouthwash. When all this is done my tongue is pink as can be and my breath is excellent. I never write reviews, but I've known the pain of having bad breath for years and I'm hoping my review will help someone as much as the Orabrush has helped me. Thanks for making such a great product, it truly has changed my life. NO BS!

I was really bought over by their YouTube adds, in particular one in which the guy talked about halitophobia, the fear of bad breath. I was and still am (to a lesser degree) always worrying about my breath when I'm interacting with people. It can be really distracting to constantly be worrying about how much you might be breathing on your friends face, and takes away from many social interactions. If this sounds like you, I recommend this! Now I can't really smell my own breath, and so I don't know for a fact that my breath is better, but I know I haven't gone a day without using my orabrush, and I feel a lot more comfortable now that I do use one!p.s.-I found the angle between the scrubbing part and the handle to be a little to much, so I actually put mine in boiling water for a few seconds and bent the head back, towards being staight. I find this makes it easier for me to get the back part of my tongue with the scrubbing part. Also this may help with gagging. Honestly some mornings I have almost vomited in the sink, but you learn how to concentrate and relax and not gag so much.

I am a bit obsessive about my oral hygiene, and the tongue cleaner I was using before wasn't cutting it. I bought this after I saw about a million youtube people rave about it (sponsored product.) I am really impressed though! If I forget to use it for a few days, it is amazing all of the gunk that will come off of my tongue, even after brushing (gross I know)! This is definitely a product I will repurchase in the future, although the one I have has lasted a long time!

It does what it says

I got this because I thought that regular tongue scrapers (all-plastic ones) seemed a little strange. Now that I have tried both types I feel that this brush doesn't remove as much stuff as the plastic and also takes quite a few scrapes to achieve the same result. You also need to replace it at least every 6 months, while most plastic ones are dishwasher safe so you don't have to spend more money.All in all, it is an okay product, but I would recommend a regular plastic scraper instead of this one.

My Doctor recommended this,and I am highly satisfied.Take it to bed with me in a glass of water,and use it in the night,gets rid of that nasty taste in my mouth,and cleans my tongue at the same time. Bought one for my son and he also likes it,highly recommend this to anyone who as a coated tongue,didn't know there was anything like this on the market,or I would have bought one a long time ago.I keep looking into the mirror,and pulling my tongue out at myself, just for a laugh,but nice to see it looking so well.Will never be without one. I used this brush just once, and I threw away my old, difficult to use tongue brush, and ordered another one for my partner. This brush is so easy to use, you can use it every time you brush your teeth. It has a sort of scoop which catches all the gunge you brush off (sorry, TMI?) so you can just rinse it away. It also has a flat head, so you can clean your tongue further back before you start to gag.It all sounds so simple, and it really is, but then, all the best designs are simple.Thoroughly recommended, and good service from seller.

An easy to use solution for any sufferers of coated or green tongue to reduce the problem and keep bacteria at bay. The bristles are soft but effective and the built in scraper provides an increased efficiency if required.

I’m not sure if it’s a life-changing oral hygiene product tbh. Makes me gag when I try to use it but it does the job
