Take a lot of abuse
Great quality, but wish they were longer. I’ll buy the 6 foot version when these give out.

Original falls apart quickly, replacement well made
Update: Anker reached out to me, reminding me that these cables have a lifetime warranty and offering, nay, insisting to replace them. There is indeed a card in the box stating that there is a lifetime warranty. The replacement they sent was the new and improved PowerLine 2, whose design mimics the factory iPhone cable, but beefier. The cable and strain relief are molded as one piece, and bonded to the cable itself. I picked and poked at one of the replacements, since I had already bought Apple cables to replace them, and they seem well made.I tried to compare charging times of the new ones vs the Apple cables, and it was inconclusive. Haven't found a good, reliable way to measure (I'm an Android user, and have not much experience with the intricacies of IOS). I'd still say that charging performance isn't any better or faster with the thicker wires for the 2m (6') length.I did not like the 4 emails and phone call within a month from Anker making sure I was satisfied in a thinly veiled attempt to suggest that I update my review. That's the only reason for docking a star. I get brand management and wanting good customer service, but that's crossing the line to pushy.Original: I really like Anker products. They've usually been a durable, reliable brand for OEM quality or better. This is a rare miss. These cables are simply not durable. The strain relief (light grey tail piece on the lightning connector side) isn't secured to the connector or the cable in any way, and that is where it breaks. All of them have broken in exactly this way- the ones my kids use, the ones my wife uses, the ones at home, the ones in the car. The most used ones start to break after about 9 months of regular use.I've attached a picture of the Apple OEM lightning cable, which is actually older and has been in constant use for longer than the Anker, and the Anker Powerline cable. These are the ones my kids use, so they're handled a bit more roughly. The one connected to the iPad in the picture still works, for the moment at least. The other one plugged into the charge box is dead. For almost the same money, the genuine Apple cable is a much better buy. Or buy 2 cheap ones.I do like the thicker cable on the Anker, but don't think it helps the phone or iPad charge faster. The limiting factor is usually the battery (and how hot it gets) on how fast you can charge.I paid my own good money, and this is an honest review.

Great Product, Great Warranty, Horrible Customer Service
Anker has several different cables:Powerline Economy Cable, charges well, low price, rubber coated cable, cheap connectors.Powerline II Entry-Level Cable, charges well, low price, rubber coated cable, upgraded connectors.Powerline+ Mid-level Cable, charges well, average price, more durable cable with nylon over the rubber coat, more durable connectors.Powerline+ II High-End Cable, charges fast, high price, Extremely Durable, Best Connectors at both ends of the cables.I only use Anker Cables. The Powerline cables I have all over my house, the cheaper cables are great for areas you'll just put your device down and let it charge. I use the Powerline+ in areas where we actually like to play on the phone while it charges. The neck on the powerline+ is more durable so if you're moving the phone a lot it should handle a lot of bending at the neck of the cable (I have had some of these cable fray at the neck so they are not impervious to bend/break like Apple cables) Finally the powerline+ II I only have a couple of the cables, I use them with my powerbanks beccause not only do they seem to charge faster, but they are more durable and when I'm charging with my powerbank I'm constantly moving, bending, pulling on the cable, have not had a problem with the Powerline+ II, just can't afford to upgrade all the cables in my house with this expensive line.Love Anker Products. Anker stands by their products and replaces anything for free as long as it's under warranty (usualy 12-18 months depending on the product). There is 1 thing I hate about Anker customer support, they are completely impersonal. You'll read this grievance in my most of my recent reviews, I'll explain and let you decide for yourself if Anker Support could have, should have, treated me better. Just bought multiple items as Christmas gifts for 16 family members (16 power banks, 16 lightning cables, 8 micro USB cables, 8 Wall Chargers, 5 Car Chargers) Not only did I spend a lot of money but I gave Anker 16 new customers that are already purchasing more Anker products. So when my personal 6ft Powerline+ lightning cable broke after a few months of minimal use (exposing the wire) I sent in my request for a new cable. I explained how much I love Anker, how I just got my entire family Anker products and got Anker a bunch of new customers and I was surprised the cable broke so easily. I asked if they could replace my cable with the 6ft Powerline+ II, figuring it may be more durable. Their reply was surprising, they wanted to refund me for my cable so I could purchased the newer cable. They did not offer a discount for the new cable, so essential they were not willing to give me the newer cable for free, it would have cost me a few more dollars and honestly I can't imagine it really costing Anker more than a few cents for the upgraded cable. This is such a huge turn off, I'm the customer you want, not just a guy who buys a cable, but someone who buys many, many products from you, gives your products to all of my family members, and promotes your products to everyone... So many of my friends have also gotten Anker cables based on my recommendation. Highly disappointed in your customer service skills Anker, still love your products but I don't plan on promoting your products until you learn how to treat your GREAT CUSTOMERS BETTER.

Anker make quality and reliable products
I needed to replace a dying iPhone charging cable. These are certified and have an 18 month warranty. Reasonable price. I like them.

Why can’t we have a robust version?
Okay, so I feel like I’m constantly having to buy new cables. I think it’s more like once or maybe twice a year, but it still feels like a lot. These Anker cables are no different than any other cables I’ve bought. They last about 6 months to a year and then I have connection issues, spotty charging etc.ugh.If they were $5 for a cable I don’t think I’d mind. I’m sure those would be even worse though.I think these are fine for this price range when compared to the rest on the market. But I’m still grumpy about it.

Solid cable, buta little shorter than standard Apple cables!
So I bought these cables because I needed some cheap replacements for some Apple Lightning cables that had gone bad. What I didn't realize was that these cables are actually SHORTER than the Apple cables. The Apple cables are 1m (3.2 feet) and these are only 3 feet. Obviously not a huge deal, but these would be perfect if they were the same length.Other than my issue with the length, they are sturdy, charge well, and have not shown any signs of wear yet. Anker has been my go-to 3rd party for lightning cables, and I've always been pleased. Good value!

Great cables; great supplier.
I was going to give this a 4-star because the lightning end didn't seem to hold as well in Apple devices. That surprised me as I've found other Anker products to be very well engineered. So I wrote to the supplier and they immediately sent me a replacement package without the hassle of having to return the original three cables. The new ones work great. Top marks for the cables and the supplier.

Best cable you can get
So no one gets the wrong impression, I would like to say at first that these cables are the best. Never buying anything else again. I now have 6 of these 3ft ones and one 10ft. So sturdy, no worries about tearing down even if your girlfriend borrows it. :DBut now to the point why I decided to write the review.1 of the 3 cables suddenly stopped working after 10months. It was the most used one. I sent a message to anker customer service and they sent me a new cable. arrived in a couple days to finland. Never been so impressed.Best cables, best customer service, 11/10. Would recommend!

Stick with Anker people!
I have owned many Anker products in the past and will always return for more! These cables are very sturdy/strong. Unlike the cheap knock-offs you can purchase that break within a few uses these are built to last.Originally purchased as my girlfriend official Apple cable started playing up. I’ve kept the other 2 for myself with one in the car. Obviously this is being connected/disconnected very often in the car and no issues at all, as expected! If you’re in need of a new lightning cable, go Anker!

3 Pack Lightning Cables
This 3 pack of 1 meter lightning cables is great - more sturdy than Apple official and 3 pack is perfect to pack in bag and/or leave in chargers in different rooms. The plug attaching to the lighting port is sturdy which is great - if possible, it would be great if this can be made slightly more compact for the next generation so it plugs in easily for more iPhone cases.

Best Lightening cable so far.......
When compared to an Apple cable everything has been beefed up. The connecting cable is slightly thicker but still flexible and both the USB and Lightening plug back shells are wider and longer but easier to grip. Back shells are made of a hard matt white plastic and taper towards the cable and are fused to a flexible light grey material which matches the cable colour and provides strain relief. At 90 cm long they are shorter than the standard Apple cable. Although the Lightening plug is wider it comfortably fits the charging port on my iPhone 7 Otterbox Strada case. The cables certainly appear purposeful but only time will tell how robust they are in use.
