I bought this to use as a recycling receptacle that I could put in a space in which a traditional recycling receptacle would look tacky. It works wonderfully in the space.It was very easy to assemble and looks aesthetically pleasing. It is not a sturdy item, but I did not expect it to be, considering the materials from which it is made.I consider it a smart buy.

I bought this hamper before it had a lot of reviews; I’m glad I did. I was looking for a split hamper that wasn’t either a) an ugly plastic/mesh abomination or b) a million dollars. Enter this hamper. When I first opened it I was skeptical but it ended up assembling in under five minutes. The exterior is bamboo slats and the lining is a sturdy rough linen-type cloth. Either side of the divider can hold at least a hefty medium load of laundry; I’m just one person and do laundry weekly, so that’s plenty for me. The top stays open when opened, and when shut can support light weight on top (like more laundry… cough). Great quality and aesthetic for the price point (when I bought mine it was around $40-45 I think).

They were super late with shipping, and it wasn't' COVID and it wasn't the looting, or the weather. It sat in my home town for 2 weeks just sitting there! So that's going to sour me on the product.It seems flimsy when you first get it out of the box, and it is a little frustrating to assemble. But it's one of those things like once you know how to assemble it, you could assemble a thousand of them . But back to it seeming flimsy- it really isn't. It's really a genius product. Once you put it together, it's nice and solid for it's purpose. I credit that to the engineering.I got mine because it matched my hardwood floors, and it takes up WAY less space than my previous hamper. I'm happy with it, but that shipping delay and frustration in putting it together was a little bit of a dig. Maybe I'm just spoiled.

This thing tucks perfectly into the space that I bought it for. It’s more sturdy than I expected and VERY easy to assemble. The divided laundry bag is a nice touch. As far as the durability is concerned, how am I supposed to comment so soon after my purchase? The price was so good that I’ll be thrilled if it lasts a couple of months.

It just arrived so this is just my first impression ... SMELLS so strong of chemicals ... thats number 1 and number 2 the lid does not open all the way back so that would have been nice... however so happy it actually has a lidall the rest is good :) great size for just 2 people using .. easy to put together .. seems sturdy enough.. love I can wash theinternal part that actually houses the laundry...after I air it out a few days and use it for a few days I will update and change the starsTHANKS FOR THE FAST SHIPPING

I have been hunting for a wicker or bamboo (or some kind of "natural fiber") hamper at a REASONABLE price - I have looked at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, IKEA, and MANY other stores - I couldn't quite find what I was looking for especially for under $50 (more often $100). I found this and thought I would order it and return it if I didn't like it but after a little difficulty with assembly (the instructions are very "IKEA-like" and one of the tabs fell right off the bottom piece which made putting the item back together a little challenging), I found that this is not only aesthetically pleasing but incredibly functional - the 2 compartment linen piece is great and I love that you can remove all the parts if you need to for cleaning. It's much sturdier than I thought it would be - I have moved it all over my apartment and it has stayed together just fine! Highly recommended.

Looks exactly as photo'd. Very cute and roomy. I will add that you shouldnt rest damp towels on top of this, the top WILL get moldy. I mistakenly did so. If that happens you can clean part of it off but it may not fully be removable. That is user-error of course to an otherwise lovely laundry bin.

Yes, it was easy to assemble. However, it's ridiculously flimsy and and I don't expect out to last a year without falling apart. The end.

Nice product, easy to assemble!

- I change clothes twice daily; only washing on fri / sat and this is able to fit all of my clothes ( also separates Colour & whites)-the structure of the hamper consists of a collapsible walls with hooks on the top that is used for the wire-frame to stabilize it; the bottom is basically held by a relatively sturdy oval cutout that allows the hamper to keep its shape (resting ontop of cloth straps)-i find that its solid enough to hold my clothing while not looking like something from a dollar store.
