works great, keeps the pool covered and protected from the sun. no sunburns for the kids and grandkids

IN the past I have always used the waterproof type sun shade.. They work fine. But the biggest drawback is that they only last about 12-14 months here in the Florida Sunshine. Aster that they simple get sun rot and rip apart. I have not yet found one that is made with Sunbrella fabric. My bimini tops on my pontoon boats have always been made of Sunbrella and they last for more than 5 years. These are cheap enough that I don't mind buying a new one each year, if it will hold up that long.

I ordered the 10x10' version; but the corners are tapered quite a bit, and the 10' is to the tip of the connector ring. That means that the shade isn't square, but rounded in from the corners, effectively making it smaller than advertised. So, instead of 100 sq. ft., you only get 80 or 85. Unfortunately I needed an actual 10' x 10'.Overall this seems very well made, much stronger than others I've ordered. Hopefully the plastic is UV stabilized and will last... only time will tell.

Great value cost less than at box store and a wide range of colors. Prefect to help keep the Florida sun off.

I like the shape of this shade sail. It's a little tricky to get the best placement of anchors without the edges rolling a bit, though. It's up again for the second season this year, and we really appreciated how much it cut down on the harsh sun that we get on the south side of the house last year! Even the garden appreciated it, as the shade moves with the angle of the sun... and even with the shade, it's not solid - just not as bright and hot as it would be if it weren't there. Would buy another when this one wears out!

Looks too much like an industrial tarp, not something decorative for the home.

We had some others we tried over the patio & they did not even last a season , These Amagenix HDPE ones however look to be much higher quality and durable ,Although they do have a pretty tight weave , They do allow for a little light, airflow, and water to come through but that is actually good thing , it will shed water to a certain extent but when it rains hard enough beyond that threshold, some will come through reducing pooling and possible damage to the tarp and supporting structures , I also like to use spring buckle connectors to give a little play and help alleviate stress from high winds or rains ,I expect with proper installation and care these should last a long time ,and you wont need to buy new ones every season , they are really nicely made

Water tipping off from all over the shade in case of rain. Not recommended at all.
