So if i use a coaxial cable can i use key tv clear outside and if it soaks what should happen?

Should not put it outside. It’s also not necessary. I bet most of the reviews is because the tv is not being programmed properly. You must make sure that your not scanning with the cable setting selected. You must have antenna selected not cable. Try it again and look in tv manual for way to use antenna setting. Good luck

Does this actually get channels? A similar product said it got 55 plus and when i got it home and hooked it up only got 2 channels

No, this was a great disappointment. I bought 2 so we would have 1 in the living room and bedroom. After hooking them up they would not even provide 1 channel. I have since moved and again they do not get any channels. I didn't return them because it was passed the return date. But I would tell anyone interested in getting this product, it is a complete waste of money and time. Absolutely not effective in rural areas.
