Does not work with Verizon
The phone itself seemed nice however I purchased the US Verison and even though the phone itself had an option to select Verizon as its Network, it would not work. Took the phone to Verizon and ran the IEMI and it's not compatible. Totally bummed as this was my Xmas gift for hubby. Had to return and got stuck with a case and screen covers that cost more money to return than get back.

DO NOT BUY!
I initially reached out to let the buyer know that the bluetooth was not working and they did nothing. They saif I had to send it in to their technitian. They sold me a defective item and now I am out of money and the phone did not last. This is the worst purchase I have ever made. I was totally ripped off.

Why I Chose HTC 10 after retuning my Galaxy Note 7
I, like many of you who purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had to go through the horrible experience of returning my phone only to go back to the drawing board and find a new phone. Its rather a head ach but in the end, I ended up choosing the HTC 10 as my replacement because it suited best for my needs and hopefully if my needs are similar to yours, this might be helpful.-It is Durable and ReliableFist off, I'm a teacher and so I am mobile moving from room to room to yard, etc as well as standing, sitting, running. with this active career, I needed a phone that was durable because I have dropped my phone on occasion. the HTC 10 with its stunning metal build proved durable and I am more comfortable knowing that. I can focus more on my tasks rather than being gentle with my phone.-Great VideosI was really surprised by how well the video's shoot, especially in regards to the sound quality. it picks up nice deep lows and doesn't have that "Florescent" like pitch, It stuns me that not many people mentions this on their reviews. I've been using both the front IOS camera and rear with no complaints.-Natural PhotosComing from the Note 7, the images on my HTC 10 looks more natural, with real tones rather than the over saturated Galaxy style. I prefer capturing the moment as it is and not amplify it automatically.-Great Batter LifeSince I am on the go all day, its great not to have to worry about recharging my batter... or an explosive one. From a full charge in the beginning of my work day, it can last all the way till night fall. I stream a lot of music, take photos, and video's and upload said photos/videos, check emails regularly.-Better for One Handed TasksI carry around books, supplies, equipment, etc. When I had my Note 7, it was a struggle to answer calls, respond to texts or check my phone while my other hand was busy. I'm constantly worried about dropping my very expensive phone and shatter its glass encasement. The HTC 10 is smaller and I can actually grip it with my fingers as opposed to the curved display of the Note where it merely rests on your palm.Other things to consider...Samsung's water resistance is rated higher than the HTC 10 but consider this... once the glass is cracked, it's water resistance is compromised. I dropped my Note 7 with a protective durable case and it still cracked, I cannot emphasize it enough, the Samsung Phones are extremely delicate. The only real thing I miss from my Galaxy Note 7 is the Stylus, and the AMOLED display. other than that, the HTC 10 is the best phone for my needs and hopefully yours as well.

Disappointed
This is my 3rd HTC phone and I purchased this one directly from the manufacturer back in August however it came in faulty with unresponsive fingerprint scanner. So I went for an exchange. The process of return was lengthy with HTC and had to haggle to get a paid return shipping label. The new phone was working well with the newly purchased Scan Disk Ultra 128GB Class 10 for 3 months, and now it starts to unmount the SD card automatically with no reason. Checked online forums and found this is a common issue and there seems to be no real solution. HTC support has shut down their LIVE chat recently and very hard to get in touch with.Other thing about this phone is the camera, if you are looking for a better phone camera, steer away from this one. Even though it came in with higher resolution than my M8 or even the Ruby, the photo quality is sub par. Tons of glare in night shots and yellowish tone on frontal camera. Pro setting is also a hassle on the back camera. You'd probably miss a lot of shots while adjusting the settings. For sure, my next phone will not be a HTC.

This phone is an underrated flagship that has aged well (came out in 2016 I believe?), and an excellent value. I recommend getting your Android updated to 8 (mine came with 7 and the battery life was noticeably improved going to Android 8), the build is smooth and solid, runs very slick, very clean software without a lot of extra bloat, camera is great. Fingerprint scan works easily on the front panel, love that it has a headphone jack.

not even a year later the battery on this phone is FUBAR. HTC has been little to no help. I have had several HTC phones and until this one my experience has been pretty good. I won't be buying another or do business with MLG group either (the seller)
