Garage Door Window Square Design with Ccross (1) White Vinyl Window

I really love these windows and would have given them 5 start, BUT, I thought they could be installed in my garage door without modification. Wrong, you must have spacers. If you measure from the lip on the front of the window to the lip on the back it is over an inch. Unless your garage door is over an inch thick this window will not work without spacers. I purchased the garage door insulation kit and it worked perfect. The lip on the front fits against the front of the garage door and the lip on the back of the window fits against the insulation. Now, one more thing. You will, of course need to cut a hole in you garage door to install the window. Then if you cut the insulation to match the hole for the front of the window you will not be able to install the back half of the window as it is significantly larger then the hole and it will not fit into the insulation until you make the hole in the insulation larger. I simply cut the insulation at an angle, using the hole I cut for the window, from the outside, thus making the hole on the inside larger and the window fit perfectly. If I was giving stars to just the windows I would give them 5 stars. They are really nice windows.

These look good and have held up well as installed in my garage door. The installation is a little tough, there's not much room for error with the opening, a little too small and it won't fit, a little too big and there's a gap. Also, the screws provided are terrible; the heads strip easily and it's hard to put enough pressure on the them to remedy this. It definitely could use some improvement. Bolts would probably work better and last longer. Overall took a few hours to install (4). Door width is important, if it is too thin, there will be play in the window. Overall would recommend this product.

The window were relatively easy to install. I don't really have anything I disliked about them. I like the light that shines in now through those garage windows.

Looks nice and stylish

Making the inside 3/8" bigger was a little tricky, I didn't have my good snips with me, I used my die grinder. They look very nice in the door.

Previous review said it all looks great and adds lots of light to my garage and kitchen.
