Tafsir Ibn Kathir Part 1 of 30: Surah 1: Al Fatiha 001 To Surah 2: Al Baqarah 141

This tafsir is very detailed. Some of the sentences do not end with periods as they should when writing in English but that is a very small thing considering the detail of the content that I needed in providing an understanding of things I thought I understood. It is very in depth with a lot of background information.

The Tafsir by Ibn Kathir is very useful to help explain each ayat or verse. This book is a wonderful research source to increase a person's knowledge of the first part of the Holy Qur'an. I recommend this book in particular to converts to Islam.

Not compatible with the kindle devices. Works fine on the kindle apps on your laptops and phones. I bought it so that I could read it on my kindle device but unfortunately it's not compatible.

Says it is 322 pages and in reality it is only Sura Al Fatiha and less then 30 pages. The translation is great but this makes it very expensive indeed. Not sure if other volumes are the same. Will try purchase one as the knowledge is fantastic from Ibn Kathir's translation.

Authentic tafseer. Good english translation. Must buy to understand Quran Shareef from the narrations of Sahaaba's.

This book will give you very detailed insight about the Qur'an which may prove difficult to obtain from elsewhere. Also, all the statements are supported with verses from the Qur'an or hadeeth. Its very good and you should definiately buy it.
