Unique Loom Solid Shag Collection Area Rug (5' 1" x 8' Rectangle, Sapphire Blue/ Navy Blue)

** Update October 2019** All my rugs are taupe colorI have had my rugs for over a year now and thought I should update my review. One rug is in a room with large windows and receives the direct Arizona sun for 5 hours a day. I keep the sofa covered to protect it. I just moved the sofa and the rug has NO discoloration. No fading at all! I love these rugs! I The other night my cat became ill and vomited an unplesent green onto a rug. I cleaned up the liquid and left the balance to dry. After a good vacuuming the next day it all came out and no stain! Whoohoo!! Also, when I vacuum I use the beater bar just as if they were carpets. I have had no problems yet and I am an agressive vaccumer. You will love these rugs. I just bought another.I have purchased five of the Solid Shag Collection rugs in the last two months. I have not had an odor or an ongoing corner rolling problem as mentioned in other reviews. The rugs have been plush and laid flat after a few hours. Today I received my fifth rug. I noticed a difference in the weight immediately. After vacuuming the rug and looking closer I noticed several more differences. The new rug is labeled SOLO Collection. It seems thinner, has a solid color back, does not lay flat and has an odor. The SOLID SHAG Collection has a multi-colored back and a wide rubber trim on the edge that adds weight and holds the rug down.Possibly those who don't care for the rug have not received the correct product. I have included photos of the two rugs for easy comparison.

Bought this rug for my baby's room. My 4 year old sometimes likes to sleep in the baby's room in a sleeping bag on the floor. First night sleeping on this rug he developed a rash. Second night, more rash. Third night, bloody nose and swollen eyes. He had little bite marks all over him. This thing was infested with i'm guessing dust mites or some little bug. Every time I touched the rug afterwards, I felt like little bugs were crawling on me. Couldn't see any of them though. Once I stopped my son from sleeping on the rug in his sleeping bag, the rash/bites went away. Totally disgusted and will not buy from this supplier ever again.

I don't know how this item has so many high reviews. When I received it, it didn't match the color in the picture. And it was not soft at all. This was meant for my daughter's nursery. The color is so dull it does not match the colors in her room and the coarse shag carpet is not what I wanted. I am returning, I warn you not to buy this. I've attached pictures of the color I thought I was getting and the actual rug I received.

Beautiful shag. Not too high, not too low. Got the Cloud Grey & it is perfect. GREYT rug for the price! Unrolled beautifully & isn't shedding. Best thing is my greyhound thinks it's her new dog bed!

Very nice quality for the price. When I unrolled it, it immediately later flat. No crazy odor, perfect color. Not as soft as I was hoping it would be. I’m using it on a tile floor, and I will have to add something underneath to keep it from sliding. Over I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Horrible smell!! Rug had a strong vinegar smell. I have been trying to air it out for 5 days but I think I will have to return it. It is also not soft or plush.Edit!! Tried to return and was given a run around. Wanted to repurchase but could not be guaranteed replacement would not smell too. What kind of customer service is this! Seriously am not happy with Amazons customer service any longer

If I could give it 0 stars I would! I read so many reviews saying how wonderful this rug is and all I can think is I got the wrong one? It was such a good deal, I knew it wouldn't be high quality but I definitely wasn't expecting this.I bought this rug for our nursery. When it arrived it had the most horrible smell. I figured it would air out and I wasn't super worried, but then I unrolled it. The rug feels horrible. It is not soft or fluffy. It feels like the cheapest yarn and it felt terrible on my feet. Then I started moving my feet around and you could easily see the underneath! I rolled it up and put it on my porch. I am not sure if it is worth shipping back or not.Please be wary of this rug. Maybe I was unlucky, but I doubt it and now I am stuck with this rug that I can't even use.

I got a different kind of rug that is the cheaper version of it. If you read other reviews this has happened to other people as well. I contacted Amazon and will be getting a full refund for this but just beware that if you buy this you might potential he be getting a different and much cheaper rug. Great decorative large rug. Not the softest I've ever felt but looks cozy and luxurious. Has a course carpet feel. Hoovers well and flattened out quickly. Very pleased for the size and price

Was worried when arrived as felt lightweight but once down its lovely underfoot. Colour in my opinion is more Petrol /French Blue than Navy Blue ( see picture for colour comparison, My Sofa is Navy Blue) However this is not a problem for us, arrived quicker by two days so that was advantageous for us too :)

Lovely quality rug

Really doesn't look good. You can see the white plastic through the plush. Very very cheap looking. Got ride of it

Not the best rug to look at or feel ... but it is quite good for the size and price
