Used to try and light outdoor fires with diesel. Sometimes they would go out or not catch. Fuel is expensive. With this fire starter I have no problem getting even wet wood to catch fire. I love this item and should have bought one years ago.

It was a Christmas gift for our son in law who has started camping with us. This will be a great fire starter.

I only used it once so not sure how reliable it will be I'll come back later

Much more powerful than i thought. "Do not use it indoors" If you do use it indoors adjust the value so as little gas comes out. It litterally was like a blow torch when i first lit it. I did not even turn up the gas that much. The flames went poof and was a couple of feet high. Yikes!!! I tried to keep it as low as possible but very hard to control getting a small flame when lit. It will definitely light your logs with no problem. I had a full propane tank and when i turn this thing full blast it sounded like a jet engine!!! Be careful when using!!!

The media could not be loaded.  With the length of the wand it makes lighting bonfires so easy.We had been using 3hour fire logs and diesel fuel however this works better and faster. It's a bit akward for the fire pit as the wand sticks out so much but it does the job and has it lit in minutes.We use a flint striker to light the torch, wouldn't recommend using matches as it has a bit of a flair up when lightning it.

I purchased a fireplace insert and was having problems starting it. I purchased this propane torch and problem was solved. No more trying to start it with paper it works as described. Very satisfied.

I use this to start fires in my woodstove or in the fire pit. Adjustable valve is great for having a tiny flame to a 4 foot tall fire ball. It's definitely not meant for indoors, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you use extreme caution. It makes it so much easier to get a fire going, even with wet wood and no kindling.
