Attached it to 2 trees. Had to tighten it after a few days, as I expected, but since then it’s been fine. My foster dog is a fence hopper, so I needed this to give her yard time off the leash. Her Secret Dog Name is “Test to Failure,” though, and she found the weakness in this product. Somehow she managed to snag the carabiner on something, it opened, and away we went. A locking carabiner would be great.Otherwise, setup is easy, but you may need some extra muscle to get the line tight enough. We secured some of the slack around a chunk of 2x4 with a vise to make it easier to haul on and that did the trick. So far the trolley glides smoothly and everything has withstood squirrel-related hysterics just fine.

Perfect for having my dogs in my unfenced front yard when we’re enjoying the patio. Easy to set up and use, sturdy, and not an eye sore. Will probably get another to take camping with us.

I just set this runner up but so far so good. I have a 4 month old puppy that needs a lot of exercise but having 5 acres we needed to ensure his safety with a runner. So far, my only suggestion would be to have a longer sling. A 3.7" sling is not long enough to fit around alot of trees in my yard. So unfortunately I had to place this runner not where I wanted to. But other than that we really like this runner so far.

My sons medium sized dog has to be tied out while we are outside but wants by us at all times. This runner is amazing. His dog can walk all over the yard like as if she wasnt even tied. I'm going to say , his dog loves this. She no longer cries and barks to be near us. She can reach us with ease and she doesnt need to pull to try to get farther than her lead allows. Shes very content with this. This is making his dog very happy and that makes us happy. So glad I got this for her.

We bought this to tie our German shepherd, so far this cable works very well and since it is built from stainless steel. There is no more break out of the tie. The kit has everything needed and it is very easy to set up. The cable is 100 ft long and gives a lot of room to explore when I tie the dog in the backyard. He runs very happily in the backyard. I just need to keep an eye on it occasionally.
