Nice compact amp
This amplifier was exactly what I needed for my pool patio. It is compact and has 4 channels that drives four speakers in the pool and covered patio area of my back yard. I can operate the speakers in the pool area or patio area with two control knobs that gives us the sound we want in the areas we are in. The Bluetooth option allows us to run Pandora with ease and the remote comes in handy. I highly recommend this amplifier.

It works and can take a beating
I bought this to use as the amp on my little Burning Man art car. I kept it in a 1 gallon zip lock bag to help it survive the dust. It worked flawlessly. I didn't use the remote. It handled two weeks of rattling around in a hot, dusty, even a little rainy, desert. I ran it at the highest volume I could (about 80%) before distortion. I put about 100 hours of run time on it. The sound was as loud and clear as I had hoped for out of this little unit. I'd say it's loud enough to blast a large living room, or nice backyard system.

I'll never curse the darkness again!
Just hooked it up to my TV audio out, powering two speakers and the sub woofer and it works fine, good clear sound, nice and quiet, no hiss or noise. It doesn't have a mute setting on the remote, but just power it off and it will do the trick.Speaking about powering off, when you do, the display turns off, however, the bright blue LED light at the knobs stays on! It takes a good power outage to realize how much light there is in your home from all the LED's in your stuff. I might open the case and disconnect the lights at the knobs, or I might just bask in the warm glow of the parade of LED's in the room!

Just as pictured
I bought this to use in my non-heated/cooled workshop and it has been going strong for a few months now. I do agree with other reviewers that the connection noise it makes when turning on can be a bit annoying but is the only issue I have had. I just make sure its turned down when I power it up and connect any Bluetooth item to it. The item has worked great when I'm working my my shop or doing yard work with the rollup door to my shop open and does not take up much room at all. So far I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good-priced amplifier.

Instructions not clear, and a clarification.
OK, first, let's get the usual out of the way. Yes, it's a neat little amp that does what it says. No issue there.However....For those looking to buy this amp to use WITH a powered subwoofer.... there is a caveat. It can ONLY be controlled with the remote, NOT the front panel volume dial. This was not clear in the description and may or may not matter to you depending on how you use the device.I currently have an original Lepai amp that has served me well. But I was looking to upgrade my setup and add a powered sub. I needed an amp with a powered sub out. So I ordered this one, bluetooth was a nice bonus. (Works well, btw.) The ONLY thing I hate about a lot of bluetooth devices... why is the "connect" sound at earth shattering volume even if the volume is turned down???Now for the problem "I" had. The front volume knob as you expect, controls the volume of the speakers. All fine. However, it does NOT control the sub out! I plugged in the sub and almost launched across the room!It turns out that you MUST use the remote (which is kind of crap) to control the sub AND overall volume. This is an odd design, making the use of this amp awkward to use if on your desk or in reach. Why not just turn the volume knob??? Nope, you MUST use the crappy remote which will inevitably break, NOT the front volume knobs. This is ONLY a dumb design issue IF you need a powered sub out. I could modify the internals to fix this for my use, which would also make more sense.... but why? I paid for a "working" product. Any other amp will control the sub out with the regular big volume knob as you would expect. Because of this, and I don't wish to use a remote to control something 24" away from me, I returned it.Just be aware of this design issue. Otherwise.... hey, it works great!

Exactly what I needed!?
Running a 15.4.4 DFX system from my Sound blaster AE-9 audio card in PC with 384kbps processing. And Dolby Digital and DTS enabled.I needed this breakout box to separate my rear speakers. I'm running 2 Rockville Towers and a 12" Rockville subwoofer up front. And an SVS Sledge sub with 325W amp, Klipsch reference speakers and a great pair of Aiwa bookshelf's I've been using since the 90's. Atmos speakers are Klipsch reference as well.My system sounds amazing!!! This fit exactly what I needed. And the independent control and sub out jack were a nice bonus for the price.

Perfect sound system for old car
I have an old car with a single speaker in the dashboard. It has a working Becker Europa radio that I want to remain in the car. I bought this amp after searching for one that would output mono sound (not stereo) and used 12V power. (Many amps now can use 12-36 volt input and only produce top wattage if the power is 24 or 36volts) The power is way beyond what I would ever use in a car, but consider I'm not the person driving around with thundering bass and the windows vibrating. Perfect to use in an old vehicle with single speaker.
