Crave Dual Guard for Samsung S7 Case, Shockproof Protection Dual Layer Case for Samsung Galaxy S7 - Navy

When I set out to replace my case, I had a few specific requirements in mind. I wanted a case that provided complete protection without being huge. I wanted a case that had a raised edge around the screen, so that my screen would also be protected. I always use a screen protector as well, but without the raised edge, they scuff up a lot faster and crack quickly if dropped. The last thing I wanted was button that where responsive, as this particularly annoys me. When I got the case, the first thing I checked was the buttons and they where absolutely perfect, all that is required is a soft press. Also, the case has a raised edge around the screen and is a solid case in terms of protection, and is not the size of a paperback.... If you are needing a case that protects your phone, has a slim profile and has great working buttons, this case is definitely it. At this price you can not beat it. This case has a lot going for it. I am very critical of cases in terms of fit and function. The case install is very simply; First install the rubber liner and then click the outer layer over the rubber liner. The fit is very tight and the case feels like it is part of the phone. Great.Next, the buttons respond very well. There is no need to apply a lot of pressure, a light press of the button is all that is required. Very Good.Lastly, the openings in the case for the charger and earphones and speakers are placed accurately. This case meets all the points that are important to me. So, 5 stars, and a recommendation from me.

As some others have mentioned in previous reviews, the outer cover can "pinch" the power button and cause it to constantly be pushed in. I flexed the outside cover a bit by hand, bending it outwards from both short ends and twisting it a little from side to side. After that it worked fine when I snapped it back on.I'm surprised by how much weight it adds to the phone. I like the grippy feeling of the cover, the button action and the wide openings for the cable connections.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase but it does seem like they need to fix their mold for the outer cover if so many people are having problems when installing it.

This is really a terrific case at a great price. It fits very snugly, yet adds very little bulk to the phone. The outer layer of the case has a somewhat rubbery feel that helps with grip, and it also has a tiny, diamond pattern that helps also. It feels good in the hand.This is actually the second one I've owned for my Galaxy S7. After dropping my phone about a half-dozen times, the two bottom corners of the outer layer of the case finally broke. But remember, this is a two-layer case. So even though the case broke, it was only the outer layer; the phone remained untouched because the inner layer of the case remained intact. If I hadn't had this case, the phone would have been ruined, I'm sure.Plus, there's the price: at less than $10, it's difficult to beat. I had no reservations about buying the first one or the second.

The best slim two-layer case I've found yet! I love Otterbox, but they are just too large and make such a sleek phone look unattractive. This case still uses the Otterbox concept of having a soft rubber internal layer covered by a hard plastic shell outer layer. This way you get the benefit of good protection while still maintaining a low profile. There's also a small lip that surrounds the screen protecting it from a face-down drop. It makes this phone feel good in the hand, and makes it feel secure.Bonus, all the buttons and ports are SUPER easy to access, and work very well. The side buttons especially are easy to press and don't require your fingers to search for them if you're not looking.

This case seems protective enough for my Galaxy S7. My issue is that my phone rarely is fast charged on either of my induction chargers. The case that this replaced worked all the time. Best charge is 97% most usual full charge is less than 75%, I'll be stopping by a mall kiosk for a replacement.Today I took off the outer shell. Surely not the same protection, but now induction charges to 100%.Orig review around April 15th.Now May 25th. At the suggestion of Crave support, I installed the case inner liner first and then the outer shell. Crave support supposed that when I originally got the case I placed the two piece assembly on the cell phone at one time and the two parts may have not been completely aligned. Well, they were right because induction charging works well all the time. I'm very happy with the performance. I don't know if any instructions were on the box, but I certainly didn't check them out.

It does not fit the S7 well enough. Too tight on the right side. So tight that it holds the button down. If you pull out on the case, you will hear the button pop back in place, but if you press the button again it holds the phone button too long and causes the menu to appear for powering down or restarting the phone. Removing the outer shell does relax the pressure on the button, so while the phone is encased only in the inner rubber shell, all the buttons work fine. I have tried numerous variances in how the phone is inserted in both the inner and outer shells. The end result is always the same - Too tight on the right side.

I'm very happy with this case by Crave. It is a 2-part design, using a soft rubber-like (TPE) inner liner and a hard outer shell.The liner provides shock absorption and which wraps around the entire phone - protruding past the screen by approximately 1mm.The outer shell fits very snuggly over the liner and locks the liner into place making it virtually impossible to remove the case without first separating the two parts.Phones today are made so slick and slippery- I swear they do this so people drop them and have to buy replacements! I wanted a case with plenty of texture and this case is perfect in that regard. There is a pattern molded into the shell which, to me, resembles the Avengers costumes. It allows you to hold it securely without utilizing a death-grip on your phone.Lastly, even though the design is a 2-part one, it is not bulky and slimmer than I expected.

Good solid protective phone casing, pleased to find one to fit older phone model as advertised. All arrived well packaged and ahead of expected delivery date.

First impression removing my very similar design Otterbox to put this one on, I really like it. Fit was just right and no issues with any cut outs. The only thing I would mention is the back has texture to it which was probably meant to give more grip but I find it more slick and slippery feeling when holding it. It's not a big deal it just feels noticeably different than what I'm used to. The only other thing I will mention as others mentioned as well, there is no cover for the charger opening or the headphone jack. Some may or may not like that it's exposed to dust and debri when not covered when not in use. With that said, there's always ways to keep the openings clean and I knew this when ordering. I will change my review if my opinion changes but so far I'm happy with it, especially for the price.

I previously has a 2 part Otterbox cover/case on my Samsung S7, which was very grippy, but the outer case lost its shape over time. I also hated the plastic screensaver it had. It takes some getting used to the Crave case as its not as grippy. But the dark blue is nice. The fit is super tight. I havent taken it off yet, so i cant speak to the ease of use in that way. Now my phone is also less bulky and the phone is more receptive not having a plastic screensaver to deal with. The buttons are very sensitive, as in you don't need to press them hard to get a response.
