This is a very good replacement of then Wal Mart Magnavox unit
This is a very good replacement of then Wal Mart Magnavox unit. It appears to be a newer version of the same design with few minorbut good changes. The remote is smaller and has full function to both itself and its older brothers. Yet, it is extremely difficult to find. Especially the good price.It is better keep eyes open and watch for the availability of this particular model. When you see one next, grab it.

Dvd recorder .
With the help of customer service i wàs able to record my videos ìn a flash , this device is a great buy , I wàs supposed to get a manual booklet but i guess they forgot .

Didn't work
The dvd recorder/player won't recognize or play a disk. Buying used equipment is a gamble, and this time, I lost.

Great unit, way over priced
For those of us that have no access to whole home DVR systems, I've had this kind of DVD recorder in the recent past. It works fine, easy to use. No learning curve since I had one before. But come on, let's rethink the price. Had to seriously consider whether or not to buy it.

As advertised
We are glad we bought this product. The seller sent it out right away. They forgot to pack the remote, but they had already sent it out to us separately by the time I contacted them. The product works well, and we are happy with the purchase. Would buy from this seller again. No problems.

It Works, though not up to modern DVD recording quality standards
This is a 2009 model DVD recorder so it lacks some important features such as a port for HDMI connections instead requiring use of RCA cables. Nevertheless it does record reasonably well though not up to modern DVD quality standards. There aren't many alternative DVD recorders available so this will have to do.
