Disney: The Little Mermaid (Disney Scripted Classics)

This book is perfect for anyone who loves Disney, mermaids and the ocean, as well as anyone who is into design/art/writing/filmmaking.Highly recommended. It has beautiful sketches, production notes and the full movie script. You will not regret the purchase. It has pride of place in my library along with all my other Disney art books :-)

Basically this is the movie script and my wife loves it. Looks good with our Disney collection.

It’s actually beyond neat! This book is everything a fan of the original animated movie could ask for and more! It’s full of behind the scenes facts and concept art from the whole process of making this beloved classic, from creating Ariel’s hair to Eric’s castle. The storyboard art throughout the book is a great way to see how some favourite scenes were conceptualized and created, especially the ending battle with Ursula and Ariel’s iconic “wandering free, wish I could be” twirl in Part of Your World. Even diehard fans like me will learn something new about the movie which they didn’t know before, or about something that was supposed to be included in the final film but was not. The pages are semi-glossy which give the book more of a special feel to it, along with the picture of Ariel on the front having a 3D effect and not being completely flat on the cover. If you’re a fan of TLM, animation, how animated movies are made, or all three! Then this book is a MUST HAVE!

El libro es hermoso, tiene muchísimo contenido y más de 100 páginas. El material y el brillo de la impresión es fantástico. Agrega información nunca antes vista y detalles tras bambalinas de La Sirenita. El único detalle es el precio, no creo que sea el más adecuado considerando que en USA es obviamente mas barato, entiendo el detalle de la importación, pero incluso es mas barato comprarlo importado de Amazon Estados Unidos que la versión de Amazon México.

Muito mais que uma simples reprodução do script, este livro nos traz uma ampla visão dos bastidores de A Pequena Sereia. São mais de 120 páginas ricamente ilustradas com rascunhos, artes e trechos de storyboards, além de diversos artigos narrando aspectos da produção do filme. Essencial para os fãs de A Pequena Sereia e entusiastas de animação em geral!
