The Stage horse hair brush is great for final polishing of skis and snowboards. This tool is effective for brushing out overlays and speed additives. The anti-static properties are helpful in removing static build-up caused by metal or nylon brushes. For hard waxes or excessive wax build-up start with the Stage nylon brush.

Good
Good brush..only complaint is that there s a lot of wax stuck in it that makes the brushing process go much slower because you have to clean it every minute every time you use it.other than that good quality brush,,that will give your board a nice and shiny finish

Fantastic for both purposes
Bought two; one for brushing my skis after a hot wax, and one for brushing flour off of fresh-baked bread (see "banneton" if you're curious). Fantastic for both purposes.

Buffs up my boards very nicely after I wax them
Buffs up my boards very nicely after I wax them. Keeps things smooth between tunings. Big enough so you can get a good hold on it and not slip and slice your hand on the edge like I've done with small brushes.

Used this for a season to finish up the wax job on my snowboard. Works great- no complaints!

Great finishing brush for the price
Bought the Stage Nylon and this one, this takes off just a little wax after using the standard nylon. Polishes the base. I haven't tried my skiis since waxing them, but expect them to glide easily.

Nice finish
Just what I needed in a rush to condition my board. Holds well in the hands. Gives a nice buff and sheen.

Most inexpensive ski tuning brushes I've found
I have a few Stage ski brushes. Good durability and low price compared to the regular brands. These rectangular hand brushes are good for personal use, but if you're tuning & waxing an entire family worth of skis I'd definitely get the larger oval brushes with a strap or the cylindrical brushes for use in a power drill.Plastic scraper -> Brass brush -> Horsehair brush, is good enough for my recreational skiing needs. Finishing up with the horsehair brush pulls more fine wax out of the base structure than you would think.

Super fine, super happy
I bought the brass, nylon and horse hair thinking I was either an idiot or making a good investment in my equipment. It was the latter. I couldn't be happier with how well these work. Do your research and know what each one is for and use it accordingly and you will too will have a killer base. This one is a finishing brush used after scraping and I would recommend brushing with a nylon or coarser brush first as this is a fine bristle brush. Apparently different conditions can warrant a coarser base. Who knew?

Great brush!
Absolutely amazing, I used to use green scotch pads to buff the wax after scraping for a nice smooth fast finish. This works better and it's a ton faster. Takes off and wax that you dont see after a full scrape, and if you give the brush a couple swipes with your hand after its chalked full of small wax fragments they all come out super clean and easy. Worth every penny!

Short bristles
Bristles are very short. You can’t tell from the photos but the bristle length is much shorter than name brand brushes like Toyo or Swix
