Savox SAVSW2290SG-BE Waterproof Premium, High Voltage, Brushless, Digital Servo 0.11sec / 972.1oz @ 8.4v - Black Edition

Bought to install it into a Traxxas X Maxx, on the first run it shorted and quit working. Also shorted out my lipo batteries - only 2/3 of the 4 cells work in both batteries. Verified it was this servo by installing another servo - it worked fine. As everyone knows, you have to cut the screw points on the servo to install it into an X Maxx. Because of this, the seller decided to charge an almost $100 restocking fee for a servo that failed! Do Not Buy From This Seller!

More than enough power in my Arrma Fireteam. Great servo but you’ll probably need your own horn.

The media could not be loaded.  For the love of GOD please turn down your steering first and the slowly increase it and for heaven sake set your end points. This servo has ton of power and torque @ 7.4v: 55.0kg/763.8oz(2s lipo) but I put mine in a Kraton EXB running on 6s (22.2v) with an 8s spectrum ESC and motor! This servo @ 8.4v 70.0kg/972.1oz-in of torque! This thing is fast! No problems yet! Be careful on smaller rigs if you don't know what you are doin you WILL tear shear and break stock parts!!!! This thing is no joke I put it in my Capra and almost ripped the C hubs off! To powerful! Best for BIG RIGS! Also if you put this in your Arrma Kraton EXB be prepared to do some filling on the metal servo mount because it won't fit in, took me like 5mins of file-ing (multi-tool file cheap).

Installed this in my Xmaxx and it’s very fast and powerful easier to turn the badlands tires on any terrain you will have to up the voltage from your bec to at least 7.5 volts though great product
